"Patrick Benigno came out today to give me an estimate for a new patio cover along with removal of the current cover. We went over what I wanted and expected of the new cover. I explained my expectations and what was a “must have.” The must have was guttering on the outside of the cover with gutter guards. We went outside so he could measure and determine what had to be done. He went over the product as well as the process. He was very thorough and I only had a couple of questions because he had already covered my main questions. We signed a contract the same day. I would highly recommend Four Seasons Home Products if you are interested in a patio cover."

After dealing with several lengthy, high-pressure sales pitches from other companies, Derrick from Cornerstone was a breath of fresh air. He came out in May and was able to quickly give me multiple options for the best products for my house. I appreciated that he did not try to upsell me, while still showing me high-quality products to choose from. The windows came in early July, but I had to postpone the installation until 7/27, and Cornerstone was so flexible about the schedule. The crew showed up promptly and worked efficiently without cutting corners, they were friendly, and they did a great job cleaning up after. We noticed an immediate difference in the temperature and comfort of our home as soon as they were done. I was also impressed that one of the owners called me the following Monday to make sure we were satisfied. "We had a very bad experience with these folks. Except for the installer/builder I could not even rate one star. Starting with the salesman who over promised things like a finished floor, removal of a concrete pad and the start date. I truly don’t think he knew what he was selling. They were over 30 days late for the start of my sunroom. This is no big deal except when you make this big of a purchase you want the thing now. Once started, the installer was great and did an excellent job. Finishing was another story. “We don’t do floors”, was the answer to my quire on the floor. Unfinished underlayment is not my idea of a quality job. I expected more from Champion. Here again the salesman fell short. The original quote called for a 6-foot deck, suitable for a grill, off the door and a step down to the grade landing. Well, the 6 foot would have placed the railing right in the middle of the door. No one thought..... Getting that extra foot was a chore. Champion finally agreed at no additional cost. The room was built on a raised deck to match the elevation of my back door. This left an exposed under area that needed to be enclosed to keep animals out and make the project look good. I was quoted $950 for this skirting which I turned down. A lot of money for a small job. In the end I think they pulled the installer a day early. The cleanup of the site was minimal. Landscaping was not returned to a preconstruction look. They left piles of rock that I specifically asked to be moved laying where they dug them up. A large electrical conduit that I had used to run a hot tub was left partially buried by the landing concrete and strung all over the landscape. Additionally, there were sone minor electrical raceway finishing touches that needed attention. It's the little things that I thought Champion stood for. Over the course of this build they fired the salesman and the construction manager. Probably a good move. I was now dealing with a regional guy who, with a little understanding and probably two hours of labor, would have made me a happy camper. Instead, I was forced to call repeatedly to get my project closed out. Finally, the regional guy came back with a quote of $2,500 to move the rocks, conduit and install the skirting. I was not happy. I learned today that the building permit is still open and awaiting final inspection. This is from FEBURARY! Not what I expected from Champion!"

"As there were some water spots on the roof, and after we had a hailstorm recently (past couple of months), thought we had better get someone to come out and look at the roof for a possible roof replacement/repair. Not my house, but my girlfriends house, and I had used Bordner in the past for both an estimate and roof repair and knew about the company. The day Jason was to come out he calls 15 minutes before he shows up to the house, regretfully she was not home as she had to pick up her son and would be back shortly. Jason came and left, and calls and says that he sees that other people had been up on her roof for an estimate, would not provide one to her unless she decides to work with Bordner and would be happy to come back out next week to meet her. Soooo, no estimate for a roof repair (which would be out of pocket) or replacement (insurance coverage). Just that if she decides to go with Bordner they would be working with the insurance adjuster. And why would we decide to go with Bordner on her experience with a 5 minute call? What did Jason do to sell the company and want her to work with you guys? No discussion of how badly damaged her roof was or wasn't, whether it just needed a small repair or extensive damage. No mention of their workmanship, warranty, roofing shingles you use (GAF, CertainTeed, Tamco, etc), whether you subcontract your installers or not, how long you have been in business, didn't leave any information etc. How many visits does it take ? You want us to schedule ANOTHER appointment for you to come out? My impression is that Jason was in between appointments and fit her in and didn't want to be late for his next one. My girlfriend was not gone long, and had she been given a 30 minute notice or more (instead of 15) could have been there to meet him. I am very disappointed in Bordner, will not schedule a 2nd visit to get more information, and am gathering additional information from other companies."
