"The whole experience went fantastically!!! From the first meeting to the final inspection!!! Everyone showed up right on time and worked diligently to get it done and even finished a day earlier than expected! Everyone was very friendly and knew exactly what to do! They did fantastic work and even cleaned the fence when done and took off the old chain link and all trash!! I had neighbors that I didn’t even know stop by to tell me what a beautiful job they did and LOVED the fence!! I would give 10 STARS if it went up that far!! Jake Champion did everything he promised and even more! I have never had anyone so nice and thorough with any other job I’ve ever had done!! Very nice and honest man and stands by his word!! A board on board fence is a type of privacy fence that uses overlapping vertical boards to keep onlookers from seeing into the fenced yard. Typically made of wood, board on board fences are more expensive than other privacy fences because they use more materials and require more complex construction.

In terms of materials, chicken wire mesh will be the most inexpensive option to use when building your fence. The downside is that it’s not the most attractive garden fence option. In a similar vein, you could choose a DIY fence made out of repurposed items, like car tires, or wooden pallets, either of which would be free to collect. 

Installing a picket fence includes measuring and marking the area where you plan to build the fence, laying out all of the materials, digging post holes, setting the posts using concrete, measuring the rails, attaching the rails, attaching the pickets, and then painting or staining the fence if you chose a wooden fence material. 

Pickets should sit at least 2 inches off the ground to encourage groundwater to flow underneath. Pickets can sit as much as 6 inches off the ground, but setting it any higher could let pets in or out of your yard unintentionally. These are not to be confused with the fence posts anchored underground with soil or concrete footing.

While it’s possible to remove a fence post with a truck and requires little physical effort, we don’t recommend this method. You can potentially hurt others or yourself or damage your property or vehicle attempting to take a fence post out with a truck. Instead, use a farm jack or a pole puller to remove the post.
