"Skimmed and sanded the area without covering carpeting or furniture. ( walls had few defects)  Sanding dust was everywhere.  Fabric furniture was in bad shape and very difficult to clean.  Carpet had to be professionally cleaned. 
Had a few wall defects which were not fixed.  Picture hanging nails were not removed from wall. 
Final color of paint dried much lighter than the sample we choose. 
The painter doing the work was prompt and stayed with the job  but I feel the job was very overpriced for the quality.
Paint has worn well. "
