"Jerry has great knowledge and made several suggestions about our lake project that made it turn out so much better than expected. We have more projects and would refer his services to anyone. He does the job right and makes sure that you are satisfied. We will use him again!"

"Ashtyn Hauling did an OUTSTANDING job!! They are talented professionals who are not only very talented and fast, they are also very neat. Even after downing 17 trees, my yard was as clean when they left as it was when they arrived. I have additional projects at my home and will use Ashtyn Hauling for as many of them as possible. Thank you for a GREAT experience. Looking forward to working with you again soon!"

"Used Four Oaks to cut the invasive species from our field. They used a forestry mulcher to cut and mulch the Autom Olive, Asian Bush Honeysuckle and Multiflora Rose from about 8 acres of our property. They did an outstanding job. They estimated 8 hours to do the job but didn't get it done because there was so much of the invasives. They took it upon themselves to come back the next day and spend another 4 hours to complete the cutting. Thats great customer service. Highly recommend this company. Going to use them again this year to cut some more."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

A land survey can take anywhere from a few hours to a month or more, depending on the size of the property, the type of survey, the property’s accessibility and topography, and the availability of historical property records. A simple boundary survey to determine a fence line can be completed in a day while surveying 50 acres of undeveloped woodlands may take weeks or longer.

If you’re planning to dig on your property, you’ll need to check for underground utility lines. Call the national call-before-you-dig 811 number. Once connected to an operator, you can schedule a site visit to mark underground lines. This way, you won’t accidentally dig into pipes and can cause major (read: costly) issues.

Detailed mapping of elevation changes and natural features on the property.

Land surveys are worth it in several scenarios including selling your home, building an addition, constructing a fence, or making major changes to your landscape. A professional land survey can help you avoid legal issues with your neighbors and confirm the value of your property. In many cases, you may be required to order a land survey to receive a construction permit or mortgage loan.

Several government-backed lending programs can help first-time home buyers purchase a home with little money down. FHA, USDA, and VA loans are options for qualifying borrowers, though many conventional mortgage lenders will lower down payment rates to as low as 3 percent.
