"I was very impressed with all of the work that was done by ProElite at my house recently. Not only did they build a beautiful deck that I enjoy immensely, they removed a window and installed a door to go out to the deck. If you are looking for concrete work done, this is the place to go. They added a sidewalk and extended the driveway that looks great - the neighbors were very impressed with their work as well. They even removed a wall between two bedrooms to make one larger room which looks amazing. If you are looking for a company for any type of project, you should contact ProElite. Very professional, cleans up after every project and keeps you updated on the status. I will definitely contact them again for more home improvements!"

"I was very happy with the work being done initially. Leo was very attentive, followed up along with Doug the business owner checking up on the work being done. Felt very good about my decision. Late in getting gutters installed but was done 3 weeks later (maybe that is normal). First rain finding a lot of water running down my facia between the gutter and facia. Very responsive initially to that problem but 3 weeks later, now finding company out of business. Business phone mail box full. Called office clerk finding out she left 3 weeks ago along with Leo leaving me high and dry!!! This sucks!!!"

Small jobs welcome

"Amazing. Unfortunately, time and wind cause some damage to a wood privacy fence. EDF did an amazing job replacing the fallen sections and cleaning up the debris. Plan to have them back in the Spring to replace the remaining sections."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.
