"We had our ductwork cleaned by Mark and Jim from Steamatic. They were professional, efficient, personable, punctual, responsive, respected our property, and cleaned up after themselves. The service cost a bit more than we anticipated, but it also entailed more than we thought. All in all, 5 stars, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience."

"I had one additional quote for mold remediation and encapsulating the crawl space. The sales representative took time to answer my questions and discuss what was needed and why. The other company did the same but were $4,000 higher. Although the other company was offering the "top of the line" fix, no other options were recommended. Advanta Clean gave me other options."

"If anyone is looking to have their gutters or windows cleaned, I can highly recommend Guardians Gutter and Window Cleaning out of Noblesville. I hired Guardians (Josh) to clean/flush our gutters, and to repair a downspout. Josh was quick to get back to me with a quote, which was more than fair for a two-story house. He arrived early and did a very thorough and professional job. In addition to sticking to the quoted price, there was no "upselling". Josh made some recommendations, and even cleaned a couple of windows as well. I would highly recommend Guardians (Josh) for any gutter cleaning job you are considering. You will not be disappointed. "Summers does an amazing job! They are very professional, transparent with the cost, and communicate what they are doing. They show up at their scheduled time/day and even send a text message to advise they are on their way. We use them at all our locations for our heating and cooling needs. Highly recommend this company!"

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To maintain metal roof health, schedule regular inspections, clear debris from gutters, and check for signs of corrosion.

If you’re painting your home or monitoring a job as it’s being completed, squash the issue ASAP if you notice paint is getting onto the roof. Keeping it clean is one of the keys to extending your roof’s life.

Removing latex paint before it dries is much easier and lowers the risk of damaging your shingles (more on that below). Simply spray the spot with a hose for one to two minutes to clear away the drying paint. In general, this is a good way to remove ugly stains from your roof without using chemicals.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only consider removing them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a risk to people below. Since removing icicles can be dangerous, it is recommended to hire a professional for the job if you have immediate concerns. To prevent the issue from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, such as improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

Roof cleaning services provide a slew of benefits, the most significant of which is improved curb appeal. Roof cleaning can make a dirty and neglected roof look new again, potentially saving you from replacing your roof to improve its appearance. Roof cleaning will also remove algae and moss, the latter of which can eventually lead to roof leaks from trapped moisture and lifted shingles. In the long run, roof cleaning can prolong the useful life of your roof and prevent property damage, making it a great investment.

It’s possible that installing solar panels can lead to mold on the roof. The panels themselves are not the issue. Problems caused by improper installation—such as roof leaks and mounts that aren’t sealed properly—can cause mold. Another potential cause of mold is debris accumulation under panels, which can trap moisture. If you live somewhere with extreme snow, rain, or hail, your home could be more prone to mold.
