The rep arrived on time and was very courteous. We had already done some research and had settled on Carrier as our brand of choice for the job. The rep listened to what we had to say and discussed our options with us. I had found a coupon online before the meeting, and the rep freely offered a better deal that they had for the same product. We settled on a product and were able to come to terms on the price and handle the financing at our kitchen table in a matter of minutes after deciding on the product. The rep set up an appointment for the system to be installed the very next day. The rep stated that the installers would be there between 8 am and 10 am. I received a call just before 8 am from the installer who stated they would be arriving in 10-15 minutes. They did so and began to work immediately. The installers were friendly and professional and answered all of my questions. They were very gracious and moved their trucks out of my driveway when I had to leave. They finished up the work quickly and showed my wife how to use the new thermostat and walked her through using the various parts of the system. The basement was left cleaner than before they had started working. As to the system itself, as stated above we settled on the Carrier brand and couldn't be happier. We opted for the Infinity System and I don't believe I will ever use any other type of furnace. Thus far the system is whisper quiet, has run less (even on the unseasonably cool nights we have had this spring) and has consumed FAR less energy than our previous system. The air purification system and humidifier have made a world of difference in the quality of our air since install. We have yet to use the air conditioner, as the temperatures have remained low this spring. I would recommend Willaims Comfort Air to anyone looking to put in a new system without hesitation. Good job installing furnace but discourteous for not responding e- mail.
Don Jr is actually the one that did the installation and he was awesome. He explained everything, completely cleaned up afterwards and ended up charging less than he quoted me. I highly recommend Don's Plumbing!

Went fine. Couldn't get stains out but everything is clean. Have a dirt-sensor on my vacuum which stayed in the green. I am pleased about that. Wish they didn't try to sell doormats and other products, though.

"The quality of the work was poor, the sod was laid and not rolled out which is preventing the sod from catching and causing the lawn to look uneven, the grass seed/ dirt was spread sporadically over the front lawn without focusing on the bare spots which was the ultimate goal of the seeding. (for treatment/solution to holes in the lawn to promote grass growth in those areas.) Also there was very little grass seeds or dirt spread to back lawn. I brought this to Kevin's attention and he said he would take care of it and that he ran out of dirt, also his response to my calls or e-mails was not timely or not at all. I called and text him on several occasions requesting that he comes to complete the job and he never showed up to complete the job as promised. I also feel the additional cost he charged ($1500) to lay 4 to 5 rolls of sod for 20 ft. x 24 ft. area (480 sq. ft.) , was over priced and he took advantage of me and I am a victim of price gouging. His initial quote he gave me was 3400 (for the seeding, retainer wall removal, aeration, power raking, cutting the grass, plant 1 bush) but I just noticed he has put 3500 on the contract so even in that instance I paid him $100 more than what was agreed upon. The contract that he wanted me to sign was very extensive and "construction focused" and did not address everything we had discussed for this project. It basically was an agreement to ensure payment and cover himself if I did not pay. When I noticed the contract did not list line by line description of the scope of the work I brought that to his attention and asked him to include what the job would intel ( work order) listing what we had talked about. He told me he would bring it when he came to do the job. I didn't receive anything, but he had already came to to start the job. By the time he finally came to start the job I had received a warning from the village due to my grass had grown more then 5 inches waiting for him to come and take care of cutting the grass when he was to start the project. The overall communication and follow up with this company is not good and they do not provide detailed scope of work orders even when requested."

FAQs for putting green installation projects in South Bend, IN
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The average cost of playground equipment installation is around $500, and most homeowners pay between $330 and $700, excluding the cost of the playground equipment itself. Your total project cost will depend on site preparation requirements, playset size, design complexity, number of accessories, and the swing set materials. Don’t forget to account for the cost of playground surfacing, which can cost between $15 to $160 per cubic yard or $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.
The cost to install a basketball hoop can range from $200 to $5,000. This price heavily depends on the type of basketball hoop you choose, as some require equipment and some do not.
For example, you can most likely assemble a portable basketball hoop yourself, with a cost of $150 to $500. However, if you're looking for something more permanent, a roof-mounted hoop requires specialized tools and roof anchors, costing a total of $2,000 to $5,000.
Rubber mulch is widely considered the best material to place under a playset. This material option provides more cushioning than traditional wood mulch for added protection, remains cooler than sand and most other materials in direct sunlight, and it’s low maintenance. Rubber mulch is slightly more expensive than other common options at $120 per cubic yard on average, whereas pine bark mulch is $30 per cubic yard. But when it comes to your children’s safety, the investment is worthwhile. Consult your playground equipment installation company about material recommendations before starting this project.
