"The work done was great. They are slow on scheduling and not the best about communicating with customers. From initial contact to job completion, it took several months. Granted, there was a lot of work to be done in the area due to hail, but we didn't receive any communication regarding scheduling for a long time. I would call and ask about the date they were to start and was told we were the next project on the list. I would call back the next week with the same response - we were the next on the list - for over a month. They will go to bat for you with insurance companies and know the insurance business very well. "We hired Rick and J Co. for a basement remodel, which included tearing down old wood paneling, ceiling panels, old carpet, and adding waterproofing for about 1200 square feet of space. J. Co did a full demolition, and installed all new lighting, carpet, drywall, electrical, paint and a wall that would create a new bedroom. They installed a new closet in the added bedroom, all new custom doors, painted our laundry room floor, and even did a few odd jobs that came up along the way (repairing an old pipe, rewiring a telephone line, helping install the knob for a fireplace to name a few). Even with delays of the major flooding that occurred throughout the city, they still managed to finish in great time and delivered a basement we are very proud of.
