"Nice gentleman, understood exactly what I wanted done. The quote was as expected. I had other priorities and couldn’t fit the job in the budget. I will keep his contact information for the future."

"I will fully admit, my grass was very tall and looking a bit rough, but he did a phenomenal job and was able to get the lawn done in a timely manner (only about a day after initially contacting him). He truly did a great job, and I genuinely hope he gets more business. In my opinion, the price was very reasonable for his service."

I have been cutting trees for 10+ yrs. I have been climbing for 7 yrs. I started my business on June 4, 2022. I recently added the lawn care service to the business. I have very competitive prices, usually better than most! I feel its important to look out for customers and to treat everyone fair! I have had 100+ customers over the last few years. There isnt much i cant do! I am on here because im eager to grow this company and expand my client base.

"They had a cancellation and able to complete the work early. Showed up on time the next morning. Tree was 50' tall. There was no mess left behind. In face we hired them to come out to take down 2 more trees this up coming weekend. Would definitely hire them for any further projects."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

You may be looking to identify maple trees to use for home improvement projects. In that case, you can tell hard maples by looking at their leaves. Leaves will have a U-shaped dip, or sinus, between the points, or lobes, of the leaves. Leaves of soft maples tend to have V-shaped sinuses.

If you already have the cut wood in front of you, look for a light, uniform color to identify hard maple wood and check for variations of red, gray, or brown streaks and an overall darker color in soft maple wood.

It depends on the type of tree. Typically, late spring on the cusp of winter is ideal for trees about to emerge from dormancy and produce new buds. That said, late fall is ideal for certain deciduous trees prone to bleeding sap. Avoid trimming trees in early spring, when they’re prone to disease.

There are many signs that a tree is diseased or dying, and if you suspect that’s the case, you should call an arborist immediately. You might notice rot or fungus on the trunk or that the tree is beginning to lean to one side. Brittle branches or signs of root damage are other indicators that a tree is in trouble. If the tree is dying, it might be time to cut the tree down so it doesn’t fall.

While palm trees can bring aesthetic appeal to your yard, they have a couple of drawbacks. The main disadvantage is that many types require warm climates, so if you live in a cold region, you need to ensure you pick a palm that can withstand the freezing temperatures. Another downside is that maintenance can be difficult because of their height, which means you will need to pay a pro to prune the tree as needed.

The best time to cut down a tree is during its dormant season, typically in winter or early spring, after all the leaves have fallen. Removing a tree during this period is advantageous for several reasons. Frozen ground helps secure the tree stump, protects the surrounding landscape from damage, and reduces the risk of the tree falling in an unintended direction. With the leaves gone, there is less risk of the tree's foliage getting tangled with other trees. Additionally, since this is often a slower season for tree services, you may be able to hire a professional at a lower rate. This dormant period is also the best time for tree trimming.
