"Paul and his crew are are very detailed and take great pride in their work.  He has also painted some interior surfaces for me including cabinetry and trim.  He leaves a clean area at the end of the day.  He is always on time and his prices are very reasonable.

"Everything looks good. They said their process would be to pressure wash to remove any dirt before painting a day before; did so. They suggested replacement of some rotten wood. They replaced it and painted some cedar siding, soffits and the gutters all the same color. Marcos said that he wouldn't sell the job to another contractor and that he would be there for the job. As far as I could tell, he was not present for the entire job and I had a bit of trouble with one of the painters, but I let Marcos know about it later. If I hadn't been home, I wouldn't have know of any of the problems with the painter, so it was no big deal in the long run. I would hire him again. His quote was a lot less than the other painter's quote. They were able to do the job much sooner than the other painter offered to do it. Marcos was even nice enough to offer some advice on some DIY deck painting we were going to do, and that was awfully nice of him."

George was willing to work with the ideas that I had for building the fire pit and patio.  He was very responsive during the project when I would stop him and ask questions, or suggest a different way to do the layout and design.  The patio and fire pit turned out nicely.  On the lawn work - seeding, mulching, leveling - I felt that George was trying to get done and get to another job, and maybe didn't spend as much time and care as I would have liked.  If you hire him for a job, be aware that he is pretty much a one man show, and is sometimes slow to respond to emails and calls, and can get behind schedule quickly when the weather is bad.

The estimate broke down the cost for various parts of the job, which I found to be very helpful and informative. "Don't remember the exact date of service but it's been over a year now. He did an excellent job. No messes, and perfect paint job and was able to do both rooms in one day. The only complaint we have is that one of the glass light fixtures above the bathroom vanity was chipped but no one told us that happened. We found out after he left. But it is not obvious so it was a minor detail plus those light fixtures are inexpensive to replace. I think they do a nice job.
