"They did a great job and have probably extended the life of the wood. They scraped, repaired the wood and painted everything we'd hoped they'd get to within the one full day of service that we'd bought via an Angie's List Deal. "
"I had called Jansma’s pressure washing service after I already had called 2 other companies to come out and try to get the hard water stains off my siding and get some stains off of my driveway. The other companies couldn’t even scratch the hard water stains on my siding. I had called Jansma’s and talked to Matt. He assured me he would get the stains off of my siding. He came out that day and did a wonderful job and got my siding to look brand new. I will be calling Jansma’s again to pressure wash my deck before I stain it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"
"Better than I could have imagined!!! Jeff and his crew were excellent, to say the least. I was informed prior to arrival during the construction and always informed when weather would not permit work on that day. Jeff was also willing to work through solutions when a problem was discovered that was outside of the scope of the contract. Rebel Roofing stepped in after two other Roofing contractors failed me. I can't say enough good things about Jeff and his entire team over at Rebel Roofing. If you are considering Roofing services, don't waste time with the rest. Go with the best. Rebel Roofing, tops in the region!"
Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts
Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.
There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.
Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.
The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.
You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.
