"Matt was extremely responsive and consultative during the sales process, far more so than some of their similarly well reviewed competitors. It took several consultations to get just the right door and windows selected, during which Matt was very helpful and patient. The installation was a little later than initially expected, though I said I wasn't in a hurry. The installation started and finished on time. The crew was professional and respectful. I was impressed with the quality of the installation. I would absolutely use the home improvement company again."

"I was having problems with my hot tub breaker tripping.  I thought it was the flow heater since the contacts were very corroded.  I purchased the replacement parts and Joe installed them.  The service call took about 1 hr.  His service was excellent.  Very friendly and provided good info to questions I asked about the spa.
After installation, I later learned that the flow heater was not the source of the tripping breaker.  Joe did point out to me during the service call that my ozonator was not currently working.  After the breaker tripped (post installation of new flow heater), I unplugged the ozonator.  I have not had any break tripping issues in the last few weeks so I assuming this fixed the problem.
My only complaint is that on Angie's List info business description for this provider it states no travel charges, charges determined by the hour.  My bill had a $99 service call fee in addition to 1 hr of labor.  I guess I should have asked prior to scheduling the appointment since I was essentially charged $175 for 1 hr of work.

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

You will likely need an electrical permit to install outdoor lighting, but it depends on where you live. Some municipalities don’t require a permit for electrical work, but you should call your building department or ask your outdoor lighting installer if a permit will be necessary. Your professional should pull the permits for you, if required, and close them out after the work is done. Either way, you will be responsible for the permit fee, which typically falls between $50 and $150.

For every foot of ceiling height, your chandelier should have two to three inches of height. To calculate the width of the ideal chandelier, determine the width and length of the room.

Add these two numbers together and that is the number of inches wide your chandelier should be. For example, if your room is 15 feet wide and 15 feet tall, you will need a chandelier that is 30 inches wide.

Using lighting controls on motion-sensor lights allows you to set the brightness, how long the light stays on, and on the luxurious end, even where to aim the light. However, these controls are considered a premium, so prepare to pay at least an extra $50.

Replacing a pool light costs about $625 per light. If you only need to replace the light bulb, plan on paying about $20 to $100 per light. The largest cost factors include the type of pool light, the number of pool lights needed, and the labor costs in your location. But additional cost factors include work required on existing wiring, other repairs, and the continual maintenance needed to keep your pool light in good working condition after installation.

LED lights are certainly more energy-efficient, using 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs—this can help you save on your utility bills during what is an already expensive holiday season. In addition, LED lights last much longer than incandescent bulbs, about 25% longer. That said, they are also a bit more expensive than incandescent Christmas lights, and emit a bluish hue which some people don't like, compared to the golden glow of an incandescent bulb.
