She is very excitable and heavy - about 65 lb. She is difficult to corral at times. The ladies at Paw-n-Claws are very good with her. They ask what kind of cut we'd like, and they call if they cannot meet those expectations. The last time, our dog was shedding her puppy coat, and they called me a few hours after I dropped her off to say that there were a lot of mats. They gave me the option of having them hand pick them out or just cutting her a little shorter. They ask about problem areas as well. They are very knowledgeable, and they have helped me learn about how to brush and care for her in between grooming sessions. They have weekend hours, which makes it very convenient for us, as we both work during the week. I have been very happy with both the services they provide and the knowledge of their groomers. In fact two other contractors had already declined the job. I had extensive damage to my front entryway due to previous major remodeling. The house was originally built by a contractor for himself. Apparently he had unlimited access to concrete. There is concrete everywhere around the house and most of it is at least 10and quot;-14and quot; thick with 1/2and quot; rebar throughout. The area around the entryway is some of the thickest. Wayne Brenner arrived to look at the job. The new walkway I wanted to add was no problem however it was obvious that he was concerned about the entryway repair. He took the time to explain why it was so difficult and what it would take to do it right, not just a repair that would look good for a winter or two. Mr. Brenner submitted his bid and I accepted it. He was very honest about what his schedule was and that it would be awhile before he could start. His wife Pam was nice enough to call occasionally to verify that we were on schedule. On the promised start date the crew of four arrived early and spent the entire day with jackhammers, saws etc. to remove the damaged concrete while maintaining the integrity of the existing rebar. The estimate was for only removing enough of the old concrete to form a good bond for the new slab. To my surprise they had completely removed all of the damaged concrete down to solid ground. Mr. Brenner told me that for quality reasons he was uncomfortable with partial removal of the old concrete. The next day the same crew built the forms, poured the concrete and finished it beautifully. The lines and contouring perfectly match the existing concrete and the surface is brushed for traction. My final surprise came when Mr. Brenner gave me a bill for the work that was $600 less than his estimate. He explained that the job did not require the heavy equipment he had anticipated so he reduced the price. He had a signed contract in his hands for an agreed upon price and he still reduced his final bill. That type of honesty is rare in business. Needless to say Brenner Concrete Construction will be my first call for any future concrete work. It took them about 30mins to 45mins to apply the tar/sealer and they put up caution line at the end of the drive-way which the other company never did. My uncle really liked that they put tape at the end of the driveway, when they where done they pulled up the tape and it was a straight line. It made the house/driveway right from the curb look straight and squared away! These young men worked fast and did a great job for the price! Upon inspection of my furnace, I was told by the Total Comfort technician that I had a cracked heat exchanger. He showed me the spot of the crack and I commented to him that it looked like a spot of rust rather than a crack. He said he didn't have the proper tool with him to show me the...

Family owned lawncare and landscape company with years of experience in the trade. Working for commercial and residential property owners. Services we provide are; Lawn Maintenance, Landscapes, Hardscapes, Clean ups, Junk Removal, Mulching, Sod, and Concrete Paving.
"It didn't. I had a need to build a retaining wall in my front garden. Gallardo's was one of the vendors recommended by Angi. I got an immediate response which was good, requesting more details and, if possible photos of the requested work. I responded, providing details and photos ask requested. I never heard back. I sent a follow up again requesting a quote. I got nothing. Ghosting potential customers is not a good business practice. I do have some future projects in mind but Gallardo's won't even be considered. No way to run a business. You can bet I will chat with friends and family and advise them not to consider Gallardo's even if recommended by Angi."

FNJ Landscaping Services has long been leading valued clients to understand the chance of having that dream design for their outdoor spaces for many years.
"The quality of the work was poor, the sod was laid and not rolled out which is preventing the sod from catching and causing the lawn to look uneven, the grass seed/ dirt was spread sporadically over the front lawn without focusing on the bare spots which was the ultimate goal of the seeding. (for treatment/solution to holes in the lawn to promote grass growth in those areas.) Also there was very little grass seeds or dirt spread to back lawn. I brought this to Kevin's attention and he said he would take care of it and that he ran out of dirt, also his response to my calls or e-mails was not timely or not at all. I called and text him on several occasions requesting that he comes to complete the job and he never showed up to complete the job as promised. I also feel the additional cost he charged ($1500) to lay 4 to 5 rolls of sod for 20 ft. x 24 ft. area (480 sq. ft.) , was over priced and he took advantage of me and I am a victim of price gouging. His initial quote he gave me was 3400 (for the seeding, retainer wall removal, aeration, power raking, cutting the grass, plant 1 bush) but I just noticed he has put 3500 on the contract so even in that instance I paid him $100 more than what was agreed upon. The contract that he wanted me to sign was very extensive and "construction focused" and did not address everything we had discussed for this project. It basically was an agreement to ensure payment and cover himself if I did not pay. When I noticed the contract did not list line by line description of the scope of the work I brought that to his attention and asked him to include what the job would intel ( work order) listing what we had talked about. He told me he would bring it when he came to do the job. I didn't receive anything, but he had already came to to start the job. By the time he finally came to start the job I had received a warning from the village due to my grass had grown more then 5 inches waiting for him to come and take care of cutting the grass when he was to start the project. The overall communication and follow up with this company is not good and they do not provide detailed scope of work orders even when requested."

FAQs for brush chipping projects in Crown Point, IN
Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Mulch costs anywhere from $30 to $150 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material. Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
