He gave us multiple options about what we could do and pointed out a couple of spots we had not noticed, which was really helpful. He was very knowledgeable and informative. When we agreed to move forward, he let us know when our project would be on the calendar. The date moved a little due to weather, but it was totally understandable and he communicated with us about it. Edin ran the project on-site. He communicated with me the night before that he would be there and then the next morning when he was on his way. We discussed the work and walked around the house prior to starting so that we could make sure we were on the same page. He had two other guys working with him. They were awesome! They showed up daily by 9a.m., they let me know when they were taking lunch so I could let my dogs out. He made sure that when they left for lunch and or at the end of the day always closed our gate, which was is so important when you have dogs. Their work was incredible. The stucco looks fantastic. The color match was great. When the project was near completion, Edin walked around with me to make sure that I was satisfied with the work. When it was over, they cleaned up and even put my patio furniture back in place. I could not be happier with the work that they did. I really appreciated the clean up as I recently had an experience with another contractor that did a good job, but did not clean up. I suspect they're out of business and gone but I'm going to try to hold them to their "lifetime workmanship warranty"

We don’t recommend hiring a stucco pro to apply this feature when the temperatures are below freezing, so it’s best to avoid applying stucco siding to your home during the winter. However, it’s safe to apply in hot and colder temperatures, so any other time of year is suitable. The spring and summer are the busiest times of year for stucco siding professionals, so you could save money by doing the work in the off-season: the late fall.
Neutral colors like white, tan, beige, and light brown are the most popular stucco colors. Natural stucco has a grayish color due to the high concentration of Portland cement in the material, but most homeowners have their contractors add pigments to create a more inviting appearance. Stucco is most popular in hotter climates, where it provides ample insulation to regulate interior temperatures and keep the solar heat out. Since lighter colors reflect more sunlight, lighter stucco is more prevalent.
Masonry screws are the best option to be used on stucco. They’re thicker and made to penetrate harder surfaces like concrete and cinder blocks. Fluted masonry screws work the best because they create a stronger grasp thanks to the lines on their shafts. If you’re working on exterior stucco, use galvanized screws to prevent corrosion.
Most homeowners can remain in their homes during stucco removal, but expect noise, dust, and limited access to certain areas. For extensive projects or if hazardous materials are present, temporary relocation may be recommended for safety and comfort. Before removal begins, seal off the work areas and use air purifiers to minimize the spread of dust.
If you're installing stucco in a climate with extreme weather, synthetic stucco may be the only viable option, as it lasts longer, is less prone to cracking, and resists moisture better.
