Our deck, especially, was really showing its age and I never expected our deck and porch to look as good as new, but they came really close. We are amazed at how good our deck and porch look and are very pleased with the results. From Greg who came out to give the estimate, to Tracy and Michelle in the office and Jeff, Herb and Eric on the work crew, everyone was helpful, professional and respectful of our home. Since I had not seen color samples prior to our project, I trusted Tracy and Michelleâ  s advice when choosing a stain color that would look best on our home and it looks fantastic! I especially appreciated how careful Jeff, Herb and Eric were when washing, sanding and stainingâ ¦ no damage to screens, no stain on brick, siding or fascia, and plants were covered. "Upon uncovering a leak during a rain, I emailed Maximus Contracting through Angie's List. They were my 3rd email sent but the previous 2 had other things going on and couldn't accommodate the 1-2 day appointment I needed to prevent further leak damage. Eric (Owner) was very responsive and responded to my email quickly. Upon return call, he said he could have someone there that day. Leo arrived and immediately assessed the situation and explained the required repairs to me. Upon his call to Eric and then Eric's call to me to discuss the repair cost, I was very satisfied with the agreed-to price. Eric even had Leo caulk the vent above the garage with no increase in cost. Leo left to get materials and returned in about 20 minutes. The actual repairs took him about 1.5 hours and after cleaning up, he was there for about 3 hours. The weather looked like rain and it did rain that evening and the next day, so I am grateful to Eric for answering my email and acting promptly. I will go back to Maximus General Contracting for any future home repairs.

"Very well. This was a big job. Rick was the only contractor we spoke to that could both suitably restore metal surfaces prior to painting them and also offer a warranty on his labor and materials. He even offered to re-stain a three-story wooden partition for us at no extra cost. The project took five weeks to complete (quite a bit longer than originally estimated, delayed due to unusually rainy weather), but Rick was in touch each day to let us know if the forecast allowed for work to be performed. Rick was a pleasure to interact with and seemed genuinely conscientious about his work. Patio structure looks great and we’re thrilled to have it restored for many years to come."
