Small jobs welcome

"We didn’t know just how dirty our sidewalk and driveway was. He did an excellent job at cleaning our concrete; sidewalks, driveway and multiple patio slabs! He was also very knowledgeable about how to soft wash our brick to not cause damage and recommended some bleach for our algae and ant problem by our windows that was covered by shrubs when we first moved in. Its been a week and I havent seen any more ants. If you have considered getting your property cleaned, Id highly recommend it! He’s also a very nice guy!"

"Very understanding of what I expected the results of the cleaning. In fact went above what I expected and did the little extras that I did not anticipated. Definitely give them a call!"

"We hired Mitch to paint our house. We had a hard time finding someone to do it. I saw an ad on Facebook for McClovers cleaning with interior painting pictures of their work. I contacted them to see if they did exterior house painting. They are a family owned business and when we met to go over details I knew right away I wanted them to do the job. We had whether related issues to deal with so the job was put off til spring. Once Mitch was able to start he put his all into it! Very easy to work with and very eager to make the customer happy. I have seen pics off his other projects on their Facebook page and from what I’ve seen he’s a “Jack of all trades “ and does an amazing job! Will definitely call them again for projects!! Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should plan on being home when a window cleaner is cleaning your windows. The professional will clean both sides of the glass and will likely disassemble parts of your windows from the inside to clean and inspect the inner components, including the balances and weatherstripping. Much of this work requires interior access to your home, which means someone will need to be home to provide access to the window cleaner.

The type of cleaning requested will change the total price you pay. Be sure to specify the type of cleaning you need when hiring a new cleaning service. Different approaches to cleaning change the price, such as:

  • Standard cleaning: $75–$175 per visit

  • Deep cleaning: $200–$400 per visit

  • Move-out cleaning: Up to $500

  • Event cleaning: $100–$500

To ensure the longevity and smooth functioning of new windows, regular maintenance is essential. This includes cleaning the glass and frames, inspecting seals for leaks or damage, and reapplying caulking as needed. It is also important to lubricate all moving parts and operating mechanisms to ensure they continue to operate smoothly.

Window cleaning costs around $220, on average, but you could pay anywhere from $150 to $300 or more, depending on the number of windows, how accessible they are, and the type of windows. Some professional window cleaners charge on a per-window basis at around $10 per window, while others provide a single price for your entire home. Either way, more windows will mean higher cleaning costs. Picture windows tend to be the most affordable because they don’t require cleaning of internal components, while double-hung windows and skylights increase your price because they’re more complicated to clean and less accessible.

The most likely cause of smearing or streaking after cleaning your windows is residue left on the glass from the cleaner you’re using. Consider diluting the solution and cleaning them again, or use old newspaper to dry the windows after cleaning, as this will soak up any residual material. Additionally, aim to clean your windows on a cool, cloudy day, as cleaners will dry more quickly on the glass if it’s hot and sunny, promoting streaking.
