"I found Niecy's business (This Clean House) on Angie's list.  The job was for a very large 3-story lake house out of town from my primary residence.  Niecy met me at the property, did a thorough review and quote for the first deep cleaning, and then discussed ongoing monthly cleaning fees for reguarly cleaning.  She and her crew came on the scheduled date and worked long hours to complete all of the work.  I absolutely recommend her for her reliability, professionalism, thoroughness, and trustworthiness."

"The rug was beautiful again after the cleaning, the carpet still had pet odor in it and I was told because I didn't buy the extra $15.00 odor remover,it was my problem or for an additional fee they could come and try again to remove the odor. The man I spoke with on the phone regarding this matter sounded like a fast talking, high pressure salesman. The young man that came to the house was very nice and polite. I doubt I use them again in the future."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

It is not advisable to use salt on your roof to prevent or remove ice dams. It’s not only mostly ineffective but can also cause serious damage to your roof itself. Salt can rust metal, damage masonry, pit shingles, and cause runoff that’s damaging to plants and animals.

You can rinse your solar panels in some cases. For example, periodically rinsing your solar panels can remove light debris if you live in an agricultural or dusty area. Light dust and dirt won’t affect efficiency much, but they can build up and mix with other debris like animal droppings, leaves, and small sticks.

To prolong the lifespan of a slate roof, perform regular maintenance. This includes conducting annual inspections to check for damaged or broken tiles and addressing any minor issues promptly. Clean the gutters regularly, remove any overhanging tree branches, and ensure the flashing remains intact to prevent leaks. For comprehensive care, consider scheduling periodic professional inspections.

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only consider removing them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a risk to people below. Since removing icicles can be dangerous, it is recommended to hire a professional for the job if you have immediate concerns. To prevent the issue from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, such as improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.
