"They were polite, professional and ON TIME!! The price couldn't be beat. Excellent service. They took their time and were very detailed in what they did. I was very pleased. When they finished they had me check and be sure I was happy. One thing that stood out to me that definately put them in a different category in my mind, is to offer a free cleaning for my Mom who has cancer. When I mentinoned her condition they gave me a coupon for one free cleaning. Who does that? I am very happy with them, would recommend them to anyone and have decided to use their service weekly."

Blind Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should replace your blinds every six to eight years, depending on the level of wear and tear and material of your blinds. Blinds that are warped or bent become difficult to open and close and usually harder to repair than they are to replace. Old blinds with frayed or exposed cords can also pose a safety hazard if young children are around.

To darken your windows without curtains, try installing window film or even installing an awning outside your windows. Window film is a DIY-friendly option with many different darkness levels you can choose from to fit your desired look. Awnings can also help by casting shade over your window, though this isn’t feasible for every home.

If cellular shades get wet and are not properly dried it can lead to permanent damage. This is especially true if mold or rust starts to form on the components. Cellular shades can also lose their shape and become much harder to open and close.

To clean your vertical blinds, dust each slat with a feather duster or microfiber cloth. If you need to deep clean the slats, you can remove them and wipe them down with mild soap and water (check the material though, since not every material can handle water). You can also vacuum out dust from the track using a vacuum attachment with a brush.

Having dust in your home doesn’t automatically make your house unhealthy, but it can contribute to allergies and other respiratory issues. Dust is a mix of tiny particles that include dirt, dead skin cells, dust mite body parts and droppings, animal dander, and pollen, so breathing in excessive amounts isn’t good for your health. Dust accumulation can also accumulate in fabrics, mattresses, and rugs, as well as harm electronic devices if it builds up inside the system.
