Team Green is higher priced, but you get what you pay for.  We previously paid $2000 to a contractor for the same job.  The job was done horribly and we had drainage and water issues immediately after the job was completed.  After many calls, the contractor never called back, nor tried to remedy the situation.  So after reading all the excellent reviews on Team Green, we called them in.  What a difference.  They were extremely professional and the job was done excellently.  We were so pleased that we called them back to complete another job.  The customer care and quick response is amazing.  For anyone trying to cut corners with cheaper labor, I would caution them since it will probably cost you more money in the long run as it did for us.  Do yourself a favor and call in Team Green.  We have had other workers for other jobs on our property and they were amazed at the work and asked who did it.  When we replied Team Green, they were not surprised at all and mentioned that they always do top quality work."

"We were impressed by the quick & smooth adjustments S & S made when concrete delivery & rain problems stopped the planned schedule. S & S returned as promised on the next work day. Again they adjusted quickly when the incorrect concrete mixture arrived. They waited for the correct mixture, & began and finished the work as promised. "We wanted someone to remove the old kitchen countertops including the island top, install new counter, island top and matching back splash for the counters, install an under the counter sink with new faucet and new garbage disposal, that we had already purchased from a local hardware store and had in the garage. Oh and by the way, we wanted it done quickly; as originally we intended to do the job ourselves...onto Angie's list I went.  (I had been seeing the comercials all the time..omen I guess.)

Dennis Grosthaus with General Construction Service was very good. He called us back with in 2 hours of  leaving him a voice mail about giving us an estimate.  Dennis came to the house to look at the project and gave us the bid.  We booked the job, while he was there giving the estimate, for the following week.  5 business days only, which we loved.  Dennis did the work himself with help from his staff.  He was very professional and personable.  His estimate was very competitive when we compared  it with others (also Angie's list calls).  The work was completed in exactly the time frame he said it would be.  While he was there we had another small project ...cabinet repair in the basement bar area... and he said no problem and took care of it while he was there on the original project.

We would highly recommend Dennis and General Construction Services and look forward to using him again.  And "believe you me" for me to be pleased with a contractor is a rare thing.  From having the house built 20 years ago, basement finishing, the pool install, concrete patio surfacing and a few others along the way; we have only had rare instances (one time really) where we were happy at the end and felt it was a great experience.

"The project went very well I have been a long term customer, Everything as always is great! Their Lawncare division is always professional they call you beforehand to let you know. This summer I had a large project done by them and the Landscaping division is just great. They removed a patio, and tie wall then installed a new trash pad, installed a new Belgard paver patio on top of the wall they installed. Everything went smooth except they found drainage pipes under the concrete so that had to be pulled up and new stuff put in. That was extra but other than that clean-up was great and the guys were always professional and in uniforms every day."

"Perma Jack recently installed a perimeter drain system in my basement. As an interior designer I have worked with many different contractors on projects large and small. They are absolutely one of the best contractors that I have ever worked with. The office staff, salesperson and crew are all polite, responsive and professional. This was a big job that involved using jack hammers to break out concrete and what seemed like an endless parade of wheelbarrows hauling new concrete back in. "We could not be happier with our deck! From the very start, everyone at Chesterfield Fence and Deck (CFD) was very helpful and professional. The crew was VERY clean, sweeping up the patio underneath the new deck every night before they left. The deck looks AMAZING - our neighbor even send us a text message about how beautiful the deck looks! Now, any company can be easy to deal with when there are no problems, but a true judge of a company's character is how they handle problems. We had an issue where the ribbon board (a decorative board that runs perpendicular to the main flooring) wasn't centered properly and was also the wrong color. After sending a supervisor out to look a the deck they, without hesitation, said they would make things right. In this case, making things right was removing the entire surface of the deck (unfortunately rendering it unusable) and redoing it all. We even asked if it was possible to reuse the half of the decking that was too long (by cutting it down to the correct length), but wouldn't do that since the replacement decking for the other half may not be a perfect color match; they would rather take the financial hit than put in a deck that didnt look perfect. To me, that speaks volumes about the company and it's leadership. It seems like it's harder and harder to find a good company that doesn't cur corners and stands behind their work, but in my experience, Chesterfield Fence and Deck is most certainly one of the good guys and I cannot recommend them enough!"
