Delivery of a safe can be a complicated and difficult process. We offer a trained professional delivery crew as well as expensive safe moving equipment. Even with the proper training and equipment, the safes don't flex, so we need the proper amount of space to allow our equipment to work. This is to assure a safe delivery with no damage to your new safe, home, or our delivery crew.

"Safe was delivered and the process was efficient with the equipment they had. However, Mark was less than personable and seemed bothered that he was there. He was not responsive to any questions I had and they were fairly simple. Maybe texting is complicated to him. Although he came off as rude and unresponsive the service was acceptable."

Yes, you should change the locks as soon as you can after completing the purchase of a house. This is a matter of privacy and security, as you have no idea how many copies of the keys the previous owner made. You can change the locks yourself or hire a pro to replace or rekey the lock, which costs $50 to $100.

A deadbolt has a different design, construction, and security level than a regular lock. Regular locks are mostly used for interior doors around the home, like bedrooms and bathrooms, and they usually include a locking mechanism on the inside. While regular locks are easy to use and install, they provide little security. 

A deadbolt adds a layer of security and is most commonly used on exterior doors. The installation is typically more complicated, but they hold up to wear and tear.

First thing first: Make sure you’re using the right key. If it’s the correct key for your lock, there are a few reasons why it may not be working, like the key is worn out or the lock is jammed. Try lubricating the lock and pushing the door closed to ensure the mechanisms work correctly. If you’re still locked out, call in for help.

If part of the key is protruding out of the lock, you can use a pair of needle-nosed pliers or tweezers to gently turn the key in the lock to open the door. If the key is fully inserted into the lock, you may also be able to use a key extractor to help turn the key into the unlocked position. 

But if the key breaks off halfway into the lock or you simply can’t reach it to help engage the unlocking mechanisms, you should probably call a professional.

Smart door locks are safe to use and are usually considered safer than traditional locks with keys. While all electronic devices can be hacked, that doesn’t happen nearly as frequently in real life as people may think.
