"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

"We have hired Jack Ames twice now. Two years ago he removed and then completely redid our driveway. We liked his work and great pricing so we called him again to add on. They go a step above all the time. The first time he did a last minute removal of old concete and poured a step to our patio that was not on his list. This time, he even went back and filled in dirt where the concrete would have had a huge drop off to the grass. This will save us a ton of back breaking work. If your foundation is unfinished, has surface damage, or is just plain unappealing, foundation refacing can be another great way to increase your curb appeal and give your foundation a fresh look. Used in conjunction with foundation planting, refacing can completely change the look of your foundation and your home. 

You can whiten concrete for unsealed and unfinished concrete with a solution or either muriatic acid or bleach and water—but never both. However, if your concrete does have a stain, finish, or polish, keep in mind that these hard chemicals could damage the topcoat. Your best bet otherwise is to power wash outdoor concrete slabs or clean indoor ones with a gentle cleaner such as laundry or dish detergent.

Sealing resurfaced concrete is not an absolute necessity. However, it is recommended, and in most cases, a high-quality concrete sealer can protect the surface from stains as well as water penetration, extending the life of the resurfacing material. Some sealers are formulated to protect pigments from fading due to UV exposure. Sealer tends to enhance the colors in decorative resurfacing applications, making them more vibrant and richer compared to the duller, more faded appearance of concrete colors without sealer.

Clean regularly, reseal every 2-3 years, and avoid abrasive cleaning agents to preserve the finish.
