"I expected this work to cost me upwards of $7,000 and was surprised that their bid came in at just under $4,000. They explained during their onsite visiting exactly what they were going to do and what I needed to do to prepare for their arrival. All work was to be preformed from inside the basement (unfinished) and would require quite a bit of coordination with a plumber and other resources and be done in a timely manner. They claimed it could be completed in a single day but I was highly skeptical given that it required jack hammering out a 45 line of basement floor just to start the project. On the scheduled day, they showed up as planned, completed the work and left absolutely no trace that they had been there. My plumber was able to return to hook up the water heater the next morning after the cement had cured. Amazing experience. Huge load off my mind. If you are in the Peoria area and have basement leakage issues, trust these guys to to the job correctly and with a ton of integrity. Can't praise them enough."

"We were pleased with the customer service, skill set and careful attention provided by Indiana Foundation during last week's waterproofing work on our basement. Josh Solomon and Noah Salisbury were diligent in their attention to our questions and concerns, going the extra mile to ensure a quality installation that met our needs. Our basement is already drier and we hope to build it out for a play/rec room soon."

"We are very satisfied with their work. Workers were very professional and the hardest working group I have ever seen. They installed an under the floor drainage system along a 60 foot basement wall. We have had no water on our basement floor since it was installed 2 months ago. We have had multiple downpours since then. We had water on our basement floor every time it rained before their installation. We highly recommend them."

"I had a great experience hiring Mr. Rooter to install a sump pump. Sean was professional and courteous and did an outstanding job. I got quick responses to all questions both via email and phone calls. They were very clear about what was included in the quote and what was not. This is a great company to do business with."

"They came on time and snaked out my drain. Since my sewer line goes way out in my yard they had to add two lines to the first line to reach the clog. Excellent job, very professional. They also gave me tips to keep my sewer cleaned out from the roots. I am very happy with there service and will call them again if needed. Thank you very much.

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

It does matter which way a hinge is installed because it’s possible to install a hinge backward. The hinge pin should face the direction in which the door will swing, making the pin visible. Exterior doors that swing outward need a security hinge with an Allen set screw in the center to prevent someone from removing the hinge from the outside and accessing the home or business.

Yes, most installation services include the removal and disposal of old doors, which can include storm doors. It is best to confirm the specifics with your provider or installer.

Yes, professional installers use weather-resistant materials to protect the dish and cabling from environmental damage.

Storm doors aren’t necessarily outdated. In fact, there are many benefits to installing a storm door, including improving your home’s energy efficiency, keeping pests out of your house, and protecting your home against the elements. However, storm doors aren’t great if you live in an area with high humidity because the door can trap heat and potentially damage your front door.

Outswing doors are more popular for exterior doors as they offer more room for moving items in and out of a home. And because the hinges are on the outside of the door, they’re more secure against potential break-ins. But, outswing doors are more susceptible to the elements and are more expensive. Comparing inswing vs. outswing doors depends on your budget, needs, and overall preference.
