Terrible after service customer service. They will not give an invoice, no more phone calls are answered, if something goes wrong you will get screwed because they will not honor their warranty. Deadbeat and terrible communication

They were at the house for a consult within 30 minutes of our call and would have made the repairs at that time if they didn't have another appointment they needed to get to. They were at the house first thing the next morning, and the work looks great!

My advise is to steer clear of this contractor in all circumstances. The quality of his work for me has been inferior. In 2022, I had him do sewer line repair for $7,500. He never completed the work leaving on open excavation hole that he refused to backfill. He was responsible for getting his work inspected by the Greater Peoria Sanitary District and told me he had done that. After having the sewer line back up recently I confirmed with the inspector that the inspection never happened. The City of Peoria requires contractors doing sewer line repair to have a city license. Schlueter Plumbing doesn't have such a license. Another contractor came and cleaned the clog. The second contractor then videoed the line and provided a report showing the work was not done correctly. I must now have the work done over by a different contractor. Schlueter Plumbing repeatedly failed to respond to most calls and texts In 2023 and over more than a week in March 2024. When we did connect, he missed a scheduled appointment. A couple of texts from him promised to get back with me. He didn t call back. He contacted me only after I texted that I hired someone else and tried to file an insurance claim. Upon discovering that he is no longer bonded, I decided not to deal with him again. Schlueter Plumbing did not operate with me in good faith. He told me some verified mistruths. I am now getting estimates from other contractors and have found that I will also need to hire an HVAC contractor as well to repair all of Schlueter Plumbing s incorrectly done work. The result is that it will take a lot more money to get the work done right. Other work inside my house that I had done by him I had to keep having him redo. That was another $4,400 down the drain. Please, take Schlueter Plumbing off your list of recommended plumbers in Central Illinois. I don t want to think that he can do this to others. If you check with the Better Business Bureau of Central Illinois, you will find they rate this business with an F.

Dan did a solid job, expeditiously and for a fair price

I installed the Angi app seeking plumbers to clear my clogged kitchen sink. Quoted $302. Upon arrival the quote jumped to $500. They were able to snake the sink to discover a bag of debris was lodged. They changed the piping...pvc under the sink. Though it was just replaced under a year. The plumbers cleared the sink...within a half hour the sink was nt draining. Contacted them and left msg. Never returned my call, so I called them back. Owner then informed that "plan b" was I needed to remove basement flooring and replace home plumbing under the foundation. Sadly, I'll never use them not recommend their services.

I never got a confirmation, Someone just called and showed up at my house.

Charge way too much for the amount of time spent solving the problem.

Came to repair pipes leaking in my basement on a Sunday. No one else I called could do it or they never called me back. He contained 2 hours after I put in the Angie’s List request. Highly recommend him

very happy with the work that was done and the price i paid. i have an external sump pit so it is extremely 12 or so feet deep. had my ejection pipe replaced and also a battery-backup pump installed. work was completed within a week (wouldve been sooner but it was middle of winter and had alot of freezing rain and snow that week). took the time to answer all of my questions.

They were not aware that I had scheduled them to be at my house at 11am. They charged me 275. For the service and I had to pay them on the spot. We still had the clogged drain when they left told us to call a company that would pump out septic tank.

Daniel Schlueter came over the very next morning and repaired my gas line and plumbing. He and his team mate were fast, efficient, courteous and best of all, the price was very fair. I HIGHLY recommend him and will be using his services for any plumbing needs that might arise.

Pricy, $300 to secure and install water heater controls which was noted as a $130 part. 15 minute job in the house. $375 to fix two gas leaks - 45 minute job in house. Work quality seems good. They were available on short notice.

He does not listen and tries to get out of the job if it is not easy. His van has painting and maintenance not (plumbing) scratches on my toilet with the snake... he is definitely not a plumber.

They showed up on time, kind courteous and knowledgeable. Connected the dryer afterwards and leveled the dryer. Was very pleased with their visit.
