"We ordered a window from them the end of April. The beginning of June they came to put the window in. They had ordered the wrong size. The said that they would rush order it and we would have it in a month. After waiting a month and not hearing from them, we called to find out when the window would be put in and they said that they would check and get back with us. After many more calls we were told that the window wouldn't be in until July 23rd. We requested a refund and after many more calls were told that they don't give refunds. The window was finally installed on August 2nd over a week after they received it. We will never do business with them again.!"

"Mike quoted the needed repairs. I accepted his quote, and gave the OK to start work. At the end of the first day, Mike came to me and said he missed some rotted wood on the project and that if I wanted it fix it would be an extra $350.00 plus the cost of the additional supplies. This put the project way over budget, and higher than several other offers. All three days of work, Mike showed up late. He texted me the first day saying he needed to drop his son off at school. Fine, but to show up between 10:00am - 10:30am is bad business especially after sending me a text saying you had no other obligations and was going to show up at 8:00am. And worst of all called and texted me with his personal number to avoid Angi list checking on the project. My wife and I are upset with the whole project. Prior to Mike completing his project, he was asked to look at the sill plate on the sun porch. He He attempted to look at it and said he would need to remove a lower panel to get in order to inspect it properly and quote the price. He stated that he would have to leave ok at it the next day when he had his tools with. He never quoted us the sill plate price or removed the lower panel for inspection services."

Baking soda can damage some countertops, but it makes an excellent mild abrasive for removing stains on other countertops. For example, never use baking soda on quartz or glass countertops, but you can use it on laminate and tile. You can resurface existing countertops as long as they’re not significantly damaged. Of course, it does depend on the material. Formica® is actually the brand name of the laminate countertops that they produce. As such, there is no difference between Formica® versus laminate other than laminate is the generic name for layers of paper topped with an image layer that have been compressed under high pressure to form a solid, easy-to-maintain countertop. Other companies that produce laminate countertops include WilsonArt® and Arborite®, among others.

You should always seal cut countertops to prevent damage and to keep them looking their best. The right way to seal countertops depends on the type of material. For laminate and wood, apply epoxy or other specialty sealers by pouring it onto the countertop and letting it flow across the whole surface to the edges, guiding it with a paint stick or putty knife. You will need to move quickly so that it does not dry or harden before you are done. For stone countertops, use a sealant specially manufactured for your type of stone and apply it according to manufacturer directions.
