Great. He responded quickly to my morning phone call and came after lunch. He knew what the problem was from my phone message and got the refrigerator working until the part which had to be ordered could be replaced. This was in two days.

He came at the time he said he would. He quickly figured out the problem and had someone order the part right away. He came on a SATURDAY to fix the machine because he knew how desperate we were to get it fixed. He was very nice, not one of those creepy repair guys you sometimes get. He might have been slightly more expensive than some places but to me it was worth it. He did a good job, was a nice person, was local, tried to get the machine going as quickly as he could. I also really like that he picked up his own calls, not some call center in another state.
He also gave me some good advice for extending the life on the machine and when we should think about replacing it.
I was very happy with the service he was able to provide.

I called, he came, tore dryer apart. Ordered parts, and returned to repair. Great job. Old dryer works again.

Nice guy, but he isnt out there to save you any money.

We got what we paid for - knowledge of what was wrong. He did everything we asked of him well.
BUT...
When he said he could fix our microwave, he never mentioned that fixing it would cost more than buying a new one. He was a nice man, but I felt like it would have been more professional to tell me this.
Only lamenting the price of the fix did a friend inform me we could buy a new microwave for less. It made me feel a bit on the angry side he never mentioned it, like he was just interested in the check.

I called two other providers before this one. One of them made me play and quot;phone tag,and quot; and I never did get a real person. The other was polite, but unable to do the work this week. When I called Mr Jeakins, at first I left a message, which he returned about an hour later. He made it over the same day, went right to work, concentrated on his task, and fixed the problem. Everything was satisfactory. I'll definitely call him if I have a problem like this again.

Takes phone calls himself and shows up when he promises to. Remarkably knowlledgable no matter what appliance he is working on.

A person came and listened to our washer and said it was a bearing going out, confirming our fears. He said the loud screech at the end of the spin cycle was bad brakes. He also said it would be cheaper to buy a new washer or cost the same as to repair it. We're running the washer until it breaks down. We'll then purchase a new one.

It went very smoothly.

He honestly knows what he doing and what he is talking about. The family has been in the appliance business forever. He grew up in it. I would never call anybody else.
