We quickly got our bid and they were able to start our work the next day. The crew dealt with the water in our basement and removed the ruined carpeting and drywall, moving and treating with mold spray all of our items. They finished that work all in one very long day. We had fans drying things in our basement for the next 5 days and someone from Pride came very day to check the equipment and they progress and also to spray again to prevent mold. We would highly recommend this company."

"Pride was hired to mitigate and restore our house after a fire. This was on 09/07/2022. They completed the mitigation phase and did a thorough job, but the invoice submitted was significantly higher than the insurance company estimate. We then contracted with Pride's owner (Jim) to act as Public Adjustor to try to resolve that difference. Everything seemed to go off the rails after that. The insurance certainly contributes to the delays and differences in the cost estimates, but Pride hasn't really done anything to restore our house. It has now been a year and the only thing done is we had windows delivered - not installed, just delivered. Lack of communication and no progress toward any resolution unless I push for something to happen. It seems to be all about getting more and more money from the insurance company. I was told early on funding would not become an issue. One year later we are no closer to being able to move in. I definitely would NOT recommend."

"I hired Smoke Services (owner Mike Marler) to repair my home after a fire on 2/15/2024. Weeks after he did finally bring in an outside company to get my wiring/electrical repaired. We attempted to touch base with him on multiple occasions in regards to roof, drywall, exterior repairs to the home to include painting, getting a dumpster placed on site so that we could clean up. We were constantly given the run around or entirely ignored. It was finally set that the drywall would be completed on a Monday, the day came and went and the work was not done, bo word about it. A few days later, rubber mulch was bagged in trash bags from our playground, without word or quote regarding the action. It had been stated Directly to Marler that we would be doing the outside clean up ourselves to save money as it was not even in the estimate given to us/him from the insurance company. The estimate that clearly stated that he was to reach out to them for consent and approval of items not listed within the initial estimate. This never happened though. I terminated our working relationship via email. Marler then proceeded to enter my home(illegal trespass) the next day via key code and place a fan in my home attempting to change me to do so. After we discovered that he had been in the home we sent a second email reconfirming that he was terminated from the job. He then proceeded to call and text from my front door wanting to know why the door code was changed while acknowledging that we terminated the relationship. He has submitted a bill to us that is astronomically inflated for work that was never approved, and even done foolishly, like scooping mulch by hand for 48 hours, (so he claims).
