"Philpot Concrete did a great job on my patio. I will be hiring for more work next summer. My only issue I had was the first day of demo his guys showed up 5 hours late. Not sure why maybe due to other jobs. No other timing issues or work issues. Thank you for turning our not so safe concrete pad into a 12x14 patio that will be awesome to hang out on!!"

"Jeff Lawson was polite and very thorough when he explained the process he did. He listened to what I said and when I asked him questions he answered them so I could understand the answers without being confused. Would highly recommend him to everyone wanting foundation work."

There are many materials to choose from, including picket fencing, wood slats, galvanized metal skirting, dog-ear fence panels, scallop wood fence panels, bamboo screens, and other decorative screens. You can search for materials at local big box stores like Home Depot or scour online home improvement sites. Good search terms to use are fencing, skirting, and privacy panels.

An Arizona room may or may not count toward your home’s square footage, depending on local regulations and the specifics of the room, but generally does not get included in the total square footage. In many locations, a room needs to be built to the same quality as the rest of the home, have an integrated heating/cooling system, and be habitable year-round to count toward square footage.

The cost to screen in a porch depends on whether you are adding screens to an existing structure or building a new one from scratch. Adding screens to an existing porch costs about $5 to $7 per square foot, with a national average cost of around $2,800. For example, screening a 12-by-12-foot (144-square-foot) porch would likely cost between $700 and $1,000. If you are building a new screened-in porch, the cost is substantially higher. A new 12-by-12-foot screened-in porch can cost between $6,400 and $18,300, while a new 14-by-16-foot one averages around $11,000. The final price will vary based on the size of the porch, labor costs, and the materials you choose.

Yes, transforming a deck into a sunroom is an absolute possibility. Building a sunroom involves framing in the deck area with walls, adding windows, and affixing a roof. This project is not an easy task, but it does provide a stylish addition to your house. Not all deck designs support this type of renovation project, so consult a professional deck builder before beginning.

How many square feet a sheet of plywood can cover depends on the size of the plywood sheet. A 4x8 sheet of plywood covers 32 square feet, while a 5x5 sheet of plywood covers 25 square feet. The cost to board up a window with plywood or install plywood under a new roof will depend on the total size of the area.
