"Lynette's stripped wallpaper and repainted all the rooms of my large 2 story 1920's house. Needless to say, a home of this age had lots of cracks in the plaster...however, they look just awesome now! "Where do I start.... I called Dave once we closed on our house. The entire Interior / trim needed wallpaper removal, and fresh paint. Luckily I had and empty house to work with for about a month. He made sure he squeezed me in before we moved, which was a huge plus. After discussing my budget, we came to an agreement on a price that was more than reasonable. He and his team worked day / night / weekends to make sure it was done on time. I took forever to pick out colors, etc... and he never was impatient with me. He finished 90% of it on time, the other part was because I couldn't make a descision on color for that area. He came after we moved in and knocked that out promptly. Any touch ups, fixes etc that were needed, he came and did with no issue. He even took the liberty of going out and purchasing all the new air vents, and other things we needed. He even came back and repainted the kitchen completely after we wanted to change the color. I would highly recomend his company, and will use him again. Stand up guy."

"They subcontracted the work.  Initial wallpaper removal was by local high school kids and was very slow.  Then one college kid who was even slower.  They finally brought in their pro who did as much removal in one day as the others did in a week.  Needless to say, the entire project finished late and missed a critical date.
The painters were very good where they painted except didn't seem to understand what to paint - I would keep pointing out areas out and sometimes they would include the area and sometimes they wouldn't.  Eventually a foreman got them to mostly meet the contract but it wasted time and caused me stress.  I felt like I was the foreman or contractor when I just wanted to write the check and have it done well and on time.  Sadly it wasn't done on time so all my furniture and electronics arrived before the work was done and ended up covered in drywall dust.
I also paid to have the woodwork cleaned and the wall plates matched throughout the house.  Both those were only half done.  They claimed woodwork just means window trim whereas I meant it to include all the wood.  I also had to go to the hardware store and buy and install a bunch of wall plates (which was not a big deal except I had paid them to do that.)
They also asked me to pay extra to clean up afterwards - I don't know of any business who does any job and then doesn't clean up after themselves.
I believe they have a good reputation, but if you use them make sure the contract specificies no subcontracting and be sure you and they agree on what is and isn't included in the work.
