Gerry talked through what we wanted done with our maple tree, gave us some advice, and gave us a written estimate on the spot. On our appointment day, Gerry called to let me know that Marcos and his crew would be coming out and when to expect them. Marcos and crew definitely knew what they were doing. They were professional, efficient, respectful of our property, and cleaned up afterwards. Gerry even called a few hours later to ask how everything went. "The quality of the work was poor, the sod was laid and not rolled out which is preventing the sod from catching and causing the lawn to look uneven, the grass seed/ dirt was spread sporadically over the front lawn without focusing on the bare spots which was the ultimate goal of the seeding. (for treatment/solution to holes in the lawn to promote grass growth in those areas.) Also there was very little grass seeds or dirt spread to back lawn. I brought this to Kevin's attention and he said he would take care of it and that he ran out of dirt, also his response to my calls or e-mails was not timely or not at all. I called and text him on several occasions requesting that he comes to complete the job and he never showed up to complete the job as promised. I also feel the additional cost he charged ($1500) to lay 4 to 5 rolls of sod for 20 ft. x 24 ft. area (480 sq. ft.) , was over priced and he took advantage of me and I am a victim of price gouging. His initial quote he gave me was 3400 (for the seeding, retainer wall removal, aeration, power raking, cutting the grass, plant 1 bush) but I just noticed he has put 3500 on the contract so even in that instance I paid him $100 more than what was agreed upon. The contract that he wanted me to sign was very extensive and "construction focused" and did not address everything we had discussed for this project. It basically was an agreement to ensure payment and cover himself if I did not pay. When I noticed the contract did not list line by line description of the scope of the work I brought that to his attention and asked him to include what the job would intel ( work order) listing what we had talked about. He told me he would bring it when he came to do the job. I didn't receive anything, but he had already came to to start the job. By the time he finally came to start the job I had received a warning from the village due to my grass had grown more then 5 inches waiting for him to come and take care of cutting the grass when he was to start the project. The overall communication and follow up with this company is not good and they do not provide detailed scope of work orders even when requested."

"I called to receive an estimate for getting a large pine tree in my backyard cut down along with stump removal. Matt scheduled my estimate for the very next morning and politely called prior to arriving. The price was reasonable given the size of the tree so I mailed my signed contract the next day. As soon as my contract was received, Matt called me to schedule the service. The service was performed the following week and was done quickly and professionally. The crew was careful not to damage the house or other healthy tree next to the tree being removed. They cleaned up after the job and were done within a couple of hours. Highly recommended and I’ll use their services again in the future."
