"First guys that came didn’t have the proper Mount- not their fault. Worked out for the best because I ended up getting a bigger tv after the recommendation of them due to the cathedral ceiling and I ended up paying less- appreciated their honesty and all worked out for the best!"

"Doug was very professional and pleasant too. He arrived on time, mounted our TV and cleaned up afterwards. I had a number of questions and he proved to be very knowledgeable. We talked whilst he worked and I was impressed by how honest and ethical he was.I will hire him again if I need his services. The charges were reasonable too. Thank you Doug!"

"Dimitri did a very good job on our hallway. He managed to paint a very tight corner without getting any grey paint on our newly installed white trim. He has a very steady hand with the brush. The grey paint did bleed through the tape onto the baseboard trim in a couple locations but he made certain to repaint the trim and not just leave it up to us to fix. That was very professional of him.

"Vendor arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and said I needed a new ceiling fan. He called Choice, We waited approximately 10 minutes for a call back and an approval to replace the ceiling fan. He went out the truck and brought in a new fan and mounted it. I did have the option of going out to buy a specific make and model vs their replacement one and then he would mount it if I desired. Great service, I am glad I switched to Choice when my last warranty came up for renewal."

"I live in South Elmhurst near flood prone Salt Creek, so I needed to make sure I had the best basement waterproofing company tackle my project. Before joining angies list I found 4-5 companies on Yahoo or Google, they all came out and gave me ideas/estimates on how to solve the water seepage thgrough the floor and walls, every company came up with a diffrent idea and left me more confused than ever, I finally gave up and joined Angies list. I came across Crawlspace/Basement Waterproofing Solutions and started reading the positive reviews. I called Brian and scheduled a appointment, he came out right on time, gave me a few options to solve the water problem. He was the lowest quote I had received out of everyone. At that point I gave him the job. The entire process took a solid day to complete. Brian assigned Joe to forsee the 3-4 man crew that day, they showed up right on time and got to work, everything went very well throught the entire day. The drain board was installed properly on the wall although there were a exposed seams where water vapor could leak through. At that point Brain sent Joe back out to spray foam the seams making it completly air tight. All in all, if you want a company that knows what their doing call Brian. Not only will they do a great job they will not leave unless your completly satisfied. I'm satisfied and have since framed my basement and hung drywall."

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
If your TV antenna is good quality and was installed by a professional, you can expect it to last between 10 and 20 years without needing repair or replacement. This can vary based on your geographic location, weather conditions, and antenna location.
The cost to repair your TV antenna is around $200 for the average homeowner. However, charges could be as low as $60 or as high as $450. Factors such as multidirectional or unidirectional, indoor or outdoor, and amplified or non-amplified all play an essential role in determining the cost of your repair. For example, outdoor antennas cost more on average to repair than indoor ones, much like amplified antennas cost more to repair than unamplified ones.
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
Before your TV antenna stops working, there are a few ways to tell it’s starting to break. Some common signs that your antenna needs repair include:
A repetitive “no signal” issue
A redundant “searching” issue
Increased signal issues during a cloudy or rainy day
A sudden drop in signal strength, regardless of the weather
If you’re experiencing these problems, you’ll want to ensure that your cables are still in good shape and have not deteriorated. In addition, check to make sure that your cables are firmly in place at the wall outlet. Finally, check the position of your antenna to ensure there are no obstructions in its path. If you’ve checked your antenna thoroughly and are still having these problems, a repair is most likely needed by an antenna technician.
