"FIREPLACE ELECTRICAL INSERT!! We hired Vinc and crew a second time to make the fireplace insert happen. They worked very hard to modify the old brick opening and seal everything up properly. Vinc has great suggestions and ideas! He created us a one of a kind beautiful year round updated look for our home we love & been enjoying for two weeks! We will hire him again!"

"Nick and the gentleman working with him were so conscientious about getting the job done. They had to work around several rain interruptions and were always here whenever possible. They were great to work with and discussed each phase of the job with me before proceeding. If they ran into an unexpected problem, they would always consult with me regarding any additional cost ahead of time. They were here when Nick said they would be and even worked late into the night including Saturday and Sunday to complete the job. The were so knowledgeable that I also asked them to replace an exterior door for me. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them!"

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Consider making some noise if you're looking for a straightforward way to put a damper on excessive frog croaking. You don't need to orchestrate a symphony—simple actions like stomping or clapping with gusto can work wonders. You can also try blasting music, but that won't help you make friends with your neighbors. A simpler solution might be learning to live with it. You can try soundproofing your bedroom with heavy-duty noise-reducing curtains.

While keeping any critter away permanently isn’t always possible, you can keep mice away from your home by setting traps, fumigating your space, and sealing known entry points. Once you’ve taken these steps, take time to work on prevention measures, such as clearing out all clutter and recyclables and removing all food sources.

Regular lawn care keeps snakes away because it eliminates common hiding places. You can deter snakes by trimming grass, shrubs, and trees and removing weeds from your lawn and gardens. Clear away leaves and other debris that could serve as a potential snake habitat. You can also seal entry points around building perimeters and install metal snake fencing.

Deer are most active around dawn and dusk. Most species of deer are crepuscular, meaning they are often awake during twilight hours. As far as the time of year goes, you can encounter deer in any month, as they don’t hibernate. They are most active during warmer months when food is the most abundant.

Squirrels rely heavily on their sense of smell and are deterred by a variety of scents. Some of the most effective smells for repelling them include peppermint oil, coffee grounds, white vinegar, garlic, cinnamon, rosemary, and predator urine. They also have a strong aversion to capsaicin, the compound that makes chili peppers hot, making capsaicin-based sprays an effective repellent for areas like gardens or bird feeders. For a DIY solution, you can create a spray from garlic and vinegar and apply it daily. Additionally, squirrels dislike strong, fresh scents, so placing items like strong-smelling soaps or dryer sheets in areas they frequent can also help keep them away.
