"RRH did a fabulous job. He replaced my plaster ceiling and installed drywall. Work was done in the amount of time he stated and he did not go over budget with needing to add more time or materials. Highly recommend."

"Couldn't have been more pleased! Very professional and got right to it. The Wall Switch that was removed, you never would have known there was one there, excellent job. The Ceiling repair, was our biggest concern, done wonderfully. Very Happy with the outcome of this Project.... Might even have him come back to do some other Projects in the Future. He's quite the HandyMan!!!Would definitely recommend Alan and his sidekick Geno to anyone!!! """FANTABULOUS""""
"Jeremy and Dave and crew were top notch excellent! Super impressed, wallpapered my ceiling, very challenging work, painted cathedral ceilings and walls. Fast workers, very highly skilled, professional , knowledgeable team. These guys do everything! No job too big for them. Iâ m actually setting them for more projects at my home."
Contacted and he returned call the same day.. He was busy, but when he got time to call he did.. He said he would come over the following day and look at the job and if I wished he would give me a quote... Which he did, and I chose to take his bid... He said he was extremely busy, but could be able to start the project within the week... He phoned me a few days later and asked if he could start the following day... Of coarse I chose to take the start day, since I needed ceiling done before wife could start to paint and have carpet installed... He came over as described, started in and got everything set on Saturday and asked if it would be alright to come back on Monday to finish the job... Ok by me and he had to do a lot of leveling, since I had had water damage when I had purchased the home... I have had quite a few homes, not just my living home, but have had rental property also, and have had many plasterers... He is fantastic... The only other plasterer I have ever had I no longer can find... I think he must have moved out of our area, so got Dennis's name from Angie's List and thought I'd try him... He has now done my basement bathroom, a soffit area in the kitchen and now the living room... You should know I had never met or heard about him until I got on Angie's List in January or February... First time he came here he did the bathroom and the soffit area and I was so pleased with that -- I called again to get his availability... He has a great personality, will answer any questions, and very professional... Work done speaks for itself...
If you need a plasterer and want a great job -- don't be afraid to call him.. He does top notch work and I'm sure, as I too, am very fussy what I pay and get from others... You will be pleased with your outcome...
Should you wish to see his work before calling him.. Call me at 815-218-0214 and I'd be more than happy to show you some of his work... You will agree...
"Marc was the consummate professional. He arrived when he said he would, took all necessary care in the preparation and execution of the work, listened to our concerns, and did everything he could to meet our expectations. He located the leak, sealed it, and wrapped the offending metal pipe in insulation to prevent possible future condensation problems. He removed mold and damaged plaster work from the bathroom and refinished the wall and ceiling. He took pictures in the attic space to show us the work he did. The work required multiple visits to allow plaster to dry. Mark was willing to work around our schedule and got the job completed pretty much within 24 hours. The standard was outstanding and Mark was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him very highly.. "
"Two people showed up and got straight to work removing a drop ceiling, drywall and ceiling as well as framing. When the third showed up the job shifted into high gear with minimal slow downs or distraction. They cleaned up incredibly well including covering my stairs and then vacuuming them, vacuuming the entire space two to three times and leaving us very little to clean."

"The Dreeson Bros did a great job painting my interior walls and ceilings. I had a lot of soot and tobacco to cover up and they did great work. They perfectly matched the paint that was already in my home. I was able to leave my little dog home while they were here painting as well. They were efficient with their time and got the job done very quickly."
It depends on the type of texture you’re adding but yes, you can often use a roller to texturize a ceiling. The roller needs to be able to hold enough medium to create some relief on the ceiling but not so much that gravity will pull it off before it dries. Using a roller with a nap between ½” and ¾” will allow the roller to hold enough material to do the trick.
Using a paint sprayer is the most effective method for painting popcorn ceilings, and it's why professionals choose spraying versus rolling paint. The sprayer simplifies the challenges of painting the texture. However, we don’t recommend that DIYers try to use a sprayer indoors as it could make a significant mess. Using a paint roller on a ladder is the easiest option that results in much less mess.
It is often less expensive to cover a popcorn ceiling instead of removing it. Installing drywall costs$1.50 to $3 per square foot, whereas popcorn ceiling removal averages $7 per square foot. Another option may be installing beadboard panels over top, giving your ceiling a fresh and modern look.
Under the right circumstances, removing your popcorn ceiling can have a favorable ROI exceeding 80%. The ROI depends on several factors, such as the size of your ceiling, where the texture is located in your home, the state of the housing market, and whether the ceiling contains asbestos.
Textured ceilings add visual interest and personality to a room, breaking away from the flat, uniform look of smooth ceilings. They are also practical, as the texture helps to hide imperfections, making them ideal for older homes or spaces prone to wear and tear. Textured ceilings come in a variety of patterns, giving homeowners the flexibility to choose a style that complements their design preferences, whether they want something subtle or more intricate. Additionally, certain textures can help with sound absorption, making rooms quieter and more comfortable.
