He had a good personality and my husband and I were impressed by his non-pressuring free estimate. After we chose Dave to do our project, he stayed in contact with us and had a willing attitude to get the job done, even though our small project was a small paycheck than others he probably had. He framed in, leveled and put gravel in on a Tuesday and by Wednesday after lunch we had the concrete curing/drying. He had one co-worker with him and they seemed to stay professional. A concrete truck came to deliver the load. There was some concrete that spilled on the driveway but that was to be expected. He did it and he did it super quick! The only bad thing we found, and we know it was an accident, was our hose was left on for a couple hours. I give people a few chances, and gave LawnTech far too many chances. 1. They did a terrible job at lawn patch work (after failing to have us settle the soil before putting in the hydroseed), which I forgave them for. They have called me three separate times to tell me they will be coming out the next day to fertilize. (No shows on every occasion!). Their sales guy Justin scheduled me to come and put in flower beds. Again, a no show! I called Justin and he said they got some higher paying jobs coming in and had to move me (without even calling me). I thought it was just Justin's incompetence, so I called LawnTech and asked to speak with the owner. I left a detailed message, and he never called me back. Then I get a call from a guy named Kerry. I told him the situation and he promised he would take care of it and though nobody else called me back, he would definitely call me back and schedule a visit to come put in my flower beds. Nope, not a call from him ever. Two days later though, I got a call from a lady at LawnTech, who told me they were coming out to fertilize. I asked her if Kerry was going to call me, she said she had no idea that he had spoken to me. Seriously, what an incompetent company. They obviously don't care about their customers unless you meet a certain dollar amount. I have paid every invoice they have sent. I told Kerry I just want the work done, but they just keep promising to come out and they never do! I am not happy with them. They are the worst local company I have ever dealt with and they have wasted my time because now I am going to have to wait until next spring to find someone else who wants the work. Save yourself the time and hassle and do not use LawnTech for any services! This is the only way I can think of to get their attention, hopefully they will start caring. Concrete Patio Work reviews from real Angi homeowners in Lona, ID
Great father and son team! They came when they said they would, they were careful not to damage the garage and flower beds when they dug up the old concrete, and they worked long hours to finish the project quickly as well as doing an excellent job. They spent the time needed to dig up mud...

Mike's Lawn service did a great job for us for a few years, unfortunately they closed up the company last October (2016) when Mike graduated and couldn't do it any longer. I don't know if anyone else took over the company since it was a bunch of college students.

Came and tore out old concrete and was planning on finishing the job the next day, but because my old driveway had been so broken and cracked, the ground underneath was so wet it was almost mud. So they waited a week while the ground dried out. Then came and prepped the ground put gravel down...

I have not been real happy with them. I think they fixed it okay. They had to have a concrete subcontractor fix the concrete because it had to go to the street. I wasn't happy with the job the concrete company did. They didn't get back with me in a timely manner when I started complaining...

"Jared installed a gazebo in our backyard in Rigby and he did fantastic job! He informed us how everything would work, he worked very fast and was pleasant to chat with, and the finished gazebo looks awesome! (just how I wanted it) I’ve worked with home service guys and contractors in the past and they always seem to be a little rough around the edges but Jared was not this way at all. He was incredibly professional and we even became close friends by the end of the job! I would highly recommend Jared for any construction or contracting work!"

Here at Final Aspect we specialize in concrete flat work, driveways, RV Pad‘s, shop floors, parking areas, new or removal and replacement, along with some commercial work. I own and operate the business myself. I am a second generation concrete mason and my sons are third generation. Homeowners need honesty, quality, and clean reliability. We give you that, which is rare in the concrete trade. I have been doing best quality work for 21 years. I worked as a foreman for large contractors, traveling all my life. In 2016 I decided to settle down in Pocatello and start my own business doing what I like to do best, residential flatwork. I am always my own toughest customer to please. Does concrete always crack? Although it is very difficult to predict, cracks can be greatly avoided and almost eliminated by proper trade practices such as making sure the soil underneath the concrete is well compacted and very flat. Another major factor in preventing unwanted cracks is ensuring sufficient jointing or control cuts.
"Jerry and his son did a great job. They were timely to show up and quote and start working. We had a significant amount of work to be done and they had it done in less than 2 weeks. They were attentive to detail and when we’d have concerns they’d address them. I couldn’t be happier with the job that was done. This small family ran business does quality work."

The beginning of Northern Lakes Tree Service all started back in 1993 when I decided that I wanted to work for myself and be o utdoors. With a couple of husky chainsaw’s and well used climbing gear I managed to scrape together, along with my old 1956 Ford two ton truck that wasn’t very pretty but got the job done, I began doing tree service around the area. This is when we learned the art of “Low Impact Tree Removal.” Simply put, it’s how to work around and at the same time Protect Landscaping, Lawns ,Driveways and Walkways and every other obstacle in or around a yard without damaging anything. Because as you know people work hard on their lawns and landscaping and don’t want to see it carelessly damaged or destroyed when tree service is being done.

FAQs for concrete patio work projects in Lona, ID
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of mudjacking is around $5per square foot of concrete, with most concrete leveling jobs totaling between $3 and $8per square foot. The typical cost to fix a sinking portion of concrete slab with mudjacking is around $1,100. The price you’ll pay depends on the size of the concrete slab you need to be leveled, the accessibility of the slab, and the type of material your contractor uses beneath the concrete to lift it back into place.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
In most cases, no, mudjacking is not possible as a DIY job. Not only do you need specialized equipment to cut into your slab and pump the cementitious material underneath it, but it’s also a challenging process, and the consequences of making mistakes include additional structural damage to your home. It’s possible to rent mudjacking equipment to attempt a DIY repair, but the risk of added property damage usually isn’t worth the money you’ll save on labor, especially if the concrete you’re lifting is a part of your home’s foundation.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
