"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"Jason and Adam arrived at the house we were staying at in Garden Valley on time and set right to work loading everything into the moving van. All the items in the GV location probably took about 30 min. Those guys work fast and efficiently. Then we all drove to Eagle to load the rest of our belongings in storeage. My husband and I drove to our new house in Star and waited a little over an hour for Adam and Jason to show up (lots of construction in the area). After the van was unloaded my husband and I went back to sweep out the storage compartment and Jason and Adam had done that, too!
Both Jason and Adam were easy to work with and very accommodating. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service from Space Age Movers.

Moving questions, answered by experts

Gym equipment can be heavy, so it’s best to transport it using a furniture dolly. When dealing with treadmills, weight machines, or other bulky items, hiring professional movers or roping in some friends and renting a moving van makes sense.

Moving a one-bedroom apartment yourself can range from $150 to more than $1,500, depending on distance, the amount of belongings you have, and more. On the other hand, the cost of hiring movers for a one-bedroom apartment is around $1,850 on average. You’ll save money with the DIY route, but the process is much more labor-intensive and time-consuming.

Deciding whether it's worth it to hire movers depends on your budget, patience, and physical capabilities. It's difficult to gauge the amount of work that moving calls for, and it's easy to be off by about tenfold.

If you're able to call in some favors and round up friends to help, you might get through it just fine, but if you only have a few hands helping, things can quickly get overwhelming. Either way, bringing in the pros will save considerable time and stress, so if it's within your budget, it's a great investment.

Renting a moving truck is often the cheapest way to move long-distance, with costs ranging from $1,000 to $2,100. For smaller moves with fewer items, a moving container can cost as little as $700. As the distance of your move increases, using moving pods or containers can become more cost-effective because you can ship them to your destination and avoid transportation costs like gas, mileage, and lodging.

Yes, you’ll need a dolly to move a washer or dryer. These appliances are extremely heavy and cumbersome. A dolly and heavy-duty straps will streamline the moving process and reduce the chances of an accidental injury. As a bonus, a dolly helps protect your flooring from scratches that can occur during the moving process.
