"Called our AC was freezing up outside I and they got me scheduled the next day and texted me when they were on their way Sam showed up right on time came in and checked my filter and did temp checks on the air going into and out of the system then checked it's pressure and found it was low filled it up and then showed me that the back of the unit needed cleaned asked me if I wanted him to do it can't ask for anything more than that I said no I'll take care of it he said okay and cleaned everything up super nice people to work with definitely will use again."

I only had 4 simple floor vents in a small home with no basement but had to pay full price of over $400. One word of caution, do not stay in the house when the vents are fumed. Though not necessarily unpleasant, the smell clung to my clothes and the inside of my nose for hours. Wait a bit until the furnace/AC has been running before going back in."

I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! "Wow. Wasn't sure what to expect, and have to say we are THRILLED with the professionalism, effort and outcome. They guys worked so hard and smart, and communicated so thoughtfully. They are so personable and dedicated, we wanted them to stay for lunch! This is our first time cleaning ducts in 50 years, and instead of being horrified and judgmental, they were super cool and supportive. They took before and after pictures...the after looked spic and span. They even swept the floors from the ceiling vents. High quality workmanship here. WE were dreading duct cleaning not knowig what to expext. After working with Perferred Home Improvement we're already scheduling our next cleaning in 5 years! One consideration: The quote we were given was considerably less than the competitors. When they arrived we learned that it is extra to clean out the furnaxe (which was included in the other quotes)"

"What I didn't like, I hadn't had any other problem in my house until I had an air conditioning problem.  While, they did take care of fixing most of the stuff with the air conditioning.  I did have to pay for the coolant that went into it, that was kind of aggravating, since you  know you are already going to pay a $60-$80 service charge for something and the you turn around and think you are covered and find out there are gaps of coverage.  We'll fix the part and pay for the labor but everything else is on you.  I think outside of price all the categories are an "A".  For price I'd give it a "C", because it's not like you are getting complete coverage.  I'd use them again if I needed to, I'd definitely consider it."
