I do everything inside and out. I have 7 years of carpentry experience and have worked as a carpenter in the military. I can do stairs, decks, siding, cabinets, trim, doors, windows, shelving, some auto repairs, anything else you can name. I will also build furniture, cutting boards, or any other specialty items. I am married with 2 children and I am currently a full time Firefighter with 2 out of 3 days off so I have plenty of time to work for you.

"Hired from Yellow Pages, to redo steps and sideway. a) Work was completed in a shoddy and hurried manner b) Left the work area with concrete pieces, cigarette butts, nails, and even a large iron rod strewn all over. Did not bother to clean up, damaged the lawn, with no attempt to fix any of it. c) The steps had large jagged gaps under it (not fully reaching the ground), refused to address it until I threatened to go the BBB with a complaint. d) When he finally did show up, he patched it poorly, leaving the front stairs to my house worse than before the project. e) One side of the steps still has a piece of concrete jutting out, which he hasn't bothered to address. I will most likely get this rebuilt in the future, I would advise others to not pay, until full inspection of work from this provider (I paid him in full faith, which was error in judgement on my part)."

You can walk on newly sealed pavers as long as they’ve had enough time to dry and cure—typically after 24 hours for patios and walkways. Even so, don’t rush it. Humidity, temperature, and the type of sealant you use can stretch that window up to 72 hours. If your new pavers look dull, it’s usually because of efflorescence. It is a chalky, white powder that is released when lime gets wet. If you have the patience, simply wait a year or so out. Efflorescence will be washed away naturally by rain. You can also use a pressure washer to restore faded pavers covered by efflorescence.

If you're designing a new patio in an area with poor drainage, permeable pavers made from porous materials may help prevent water issues. Most permeable pavers feature a gravel-only aggregate base instead of a concrete base to allow water to flow through instead of getting trapped. While beneficial in some cases, permeable pavers come with higher initial costs and greater load-bearing limitations compared to traditional pavers.

The most obvious disadvantage of permeable paving is that the cost is typically higher compared to non-permeable concrete, pavers, or asphalt methods.
