Hi, I'm Don. I'm just moving back to the Omaha area from Virgina. I have many skills in my tool belt. However, the best ones are: sheds/fencing/ decks/repairs and new builds. Also, all types of laminate flooring including tile. Painting (interior/exterior) Also, bath and kitchen remodeling, cabinets. I can also do minor electrical, installing new lighting/microwave, hoodranges and minor plumbing toilets/faucets/ Sillcock (hose Bibb). In short, my prices are great and most times can't be beat, solely due to the fact that I'm a small company and crew of 2. I also have hundreds of pictures of my work with reference of that work. So give me a call today and we'll get started right away! (Free Estimates)

The national average cost of a building permit is about $1,600, but this number includes extensive renovations. Homeowners typically spend between $150 and $2,000 in general on one or multiple permits for their project. Conversely, permits for simple projects, such as minor electrical renovations, could cost as little as $10.

Yes, many kinds of building permits exist for various projects in and outside your home. Each city sets the permit categories, but they typically cover new construction, alterations, and demolition. For example, you will need a different permit to finish a basement than you would tear down the patio.

Metal carports are commonly made from steel or aluminum, offering durability and low maintenance.

Wood carports provide weather protection for vehicles, serve as multipurpose spaces, and add aesthetic and functional value to properties.

The best lumber for building will be the strongest and most eco-friendly wood your budget allows. That being said, Douglas fir, pine, oak, and maple are all common building materials. Contractors will use a strong, inexpensive wood to frame a house or other structure and finer woods like mahogany for detail work.
