Small jobs welcome

Aloha! Haiku-based handyman with a background in both the trades and tech. Carpentry, framing, building software (apps), computers, general home fixes, you name it. Ive seen it all and done it all. Even the small stuff that keeps getting pushed to next weekend. No job too small. I show up when I say I will, bring my own tools, and give you a straight answer on cost and timing up front. Newly established local LLC here to do right by my community.

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Dennis was was great and I would highly recommend him for your next project. He helped us knock down a kitchen wall, install cabinets/sub top, and move electrical outlets and fridge ice maker water line. After we had a few people flake on us or decline our project altogether, it was nice to have such a responsive and professional contractor come in and get the job done right. His guys worked super quickly and cleaned up all the drywall dust before leaving. We had the wall down and island in 2 days. Took us a bit of time to find matching countertops and someone to install, but Dennis worked with our schedule and came back to do the sub top the day after we gave him a call. Great to meet such honest and reliable contractor. Will definitely work with him again in the future"

"I never contacted the provider or used this service in anyway. I have to
write this review so that the request to write this review stops
popping up.
The rating is bogus as it is required to be able to submit.

"Thorough and professional from start to finish. Needed an extension on our tiny house to create an outside lanai adding more space for us and our guest. I must say Steven did an amazing job!! He communicated throughly all the details of the job and got it done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this guy and his helper they both seemed like they enjoy what they do, shared smiles, and laughter, despite the hot sun."

Woodworking FAQs, answered by experts

While the Arts and Crafts movement inspired many architectural elements, the primary styles from the time include Craftsman, Tudor Revivals, bungalows, and Mission homes. You'll see elements of these styles in homes, churches, museums, and schools—particularly Country Day schools from the era.

Professionals ensure precise alignment and durability, critical for structural integrity.

Hiring a woodworker can be expensive, depending on the job, but it’s very often well worth the investment. Woodworkers are able to provide custom pieces of furniture and handmade construction to present a finished product that is exactly to your specifications. If you have a specific vision for a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture or home feature, the cost of hiring a professional woodworker is worthwhile. Plus, you’ll often get a higher quality product than what you could buy in stores for a fraction of the price.

Before hiring a carpenter, the most important thing is to make sure they are properly qualified and insured for the job. It’s more than reasonable to ask your prospective carpenter for customer references, as well as about their licensing and insurance. You should also consider choosing a carpenter that specializes in your specific project area to ensure high-quality results.

Yes, carpenters can fix squeaky floors. They have the expertise to identify the source of the squeak, whether it’s loose floorboards, subfloor issues, or joist problems. These experts also have the right tools and hands-on knowledge to secure the flooring and eliminate the noise, ensuring a long-lasting solution.
