"On Budget. On Time. Creative Genius. Always important to us consumers are being on time and on budget for any construction - which Joey and his team were exceptional in keeping both. We discussed at length our visions and set plans in advance, knowing Maui Countyâ  s process would cause delays if arbitrary changes were made once in motion. He helped us avoid these stressors that so many others weâ  ve heard have encountered while trying to do construction to enhance their properties. Things went unbelievably smoothly. And because of that luxury we spent more time getting to know Joeyâ  s content of character, and the pride he brings to his job. He is an extremely conscientious person. And we felt like this was more than just â  showing upâ  and â  cranking things outâ  for him, that creating pools that give you a sense of being in an oasis was his passion. The final lava rock pool (which he unbelievably created with cement), the 3 cascading waterfalls, the cavern, how the rocks dipped into and under the surface of the water - its entirety took our breath away. He also included apps to control the waterfalls separately and amounts of water falling; to control the bubblers (aka what I call back massagers) installed in the sitting areas; and separate controls for the pool lights (with color options) which included lighting our waterfalls - these functions are all amazing and help create different moods and sound. He also suggested to pre-install in-set umbrella holders not only on our lava rock deck surface he made, but also in the pool itself - this has been not only super convenient to have these options, itâ  s been a game changer for our younger grand babies who enjoy wading in the water but sunburn easier. All in all, we jumped at the chance to give Joey this deserving review. It was an absolute joy to go through our remarkable journey with him, in what we thought would be a daunting process - understanding not just the scale of construction for what we wanted, but finding someone who could artistically enhance and materialize our vision. Our family absolutely loves what heâ  s created for us - it has become the central place for our family to gather and build memories - and that is priceless."

"Absolutely loved having Sam work for us! He was professional and did a wonderful job removing several banana trees including their stumps for us which is very hard work. Would definitely hire him again. Mahalo!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Most pond installations take 3-10 days, depending on excavation, liner placement, and filtration setup.

DIY kits are available, but professional installation ensures proper water flow, electrical safety, and leak prevention.

Most outdoor water fountains and features do not use a lot of electricity, typically consuming between 100 and 250 watts per day. The size of the fountain's motor can impact its overall electricity usage. To reduce energy consumption, you can use a timer to automatically turn the fountain off at night or when you are away from home. Additionally, installing solar power components can help lower electricity costs after the initial investment is recouped.

You can use the outdoor spigot to do many things like cleaning patio furniture, washing down driveways, or watering plants. You can also attach outdoor hoses and some sprinkler systems to your spigot, making it much easier to keep your grass and plants watered. When connecting a hose or sprinkler system to your outdoor spigot, pay close attention to the manufacturer’s instructions, as they can ensure a snug fit with no leaks.

Because frogs require fresh water for survival, they can die from repeated exposure to swimming pool chemicals. Chlorine dehydrates frogs, which can lead to their deaths. To ensure frogs don’t hang out in your pool for long periods, safely remove them once you spot them in your pool and install a frog log so they can easily hop out on their own.
