Locally owned by its employees HPM Building Supply has 4 locations on the Big Island (Hilo, Keaau, Kona & Waimea) and 1 on Oahu (Campbell). Since 1921. Since starting out over 90 years ago as a small, family-owned Hilo lumber mill, HPM Building Supply—now 100-percent employee-owned—has grown to include three full-service building supply centers and four lumber yards on the Big Island. The company manufactures pre-engineered trusses and wall-panels, metal roofing and pre-hung doors, and treats its own lumber. From its Honolulu facility HPM also provides lumber, building supplies, home planning and custom metal roofing to O‘ahu, Maui and Kaua‘i.
