"Initially I had 2 quotes prior to contact with Alone Construction. The estimates were basically in the same range however, Moses with Alone Constuction had more of a complete package.He is a God send. He is an honest and hardworking man and his crew is awesome. "We had some scheduling issues at first but they did come by and do the work. They did keep in touch with us until they could come out. They did a good job helping us clear an area of the yard. Two people came out and completed the work in 2 hours. They were nice guys.We were looking to have someone to a monthly lawn service but they had some change going on in their company and were not able to continue service with us."

"We live on a hillside with 30 fruit trees and a lot of overgrown vegetation. Scott and his crew came in and worked for 3 full days removing trees, weeding beds, trimming branches and taking all the rubbish away to make our space look amazing. The team could not have been a better example of hard work and pride in their craft. Early in the bidding, I tried to cheap out and have him just weed whack the weeds and he explained how they would grow right back and it’s worth it to have them take the time to remove everything the right way. I took his recommendation and so glad we did. I didn’t know backyard dirt could look that sexy! We were quick to find other projects for the team so we had a reason to bring him back and this week they are coming back to install French drain and gutter drainage pipes. I can’t say enough good things about this team and appreciate all they have done."

Dutch elm disease can’t harm humans. In fact, according to Cal Fire, bark beetles aren’t even typically dangerous to trees unless that tree is already weakened. It’s not as common for Dutch elm disease to affect other types of trees, especially if the surrounding trees aren’t elms. However, it is possible for DED to spread to other trees, particularly in northern states, like Minnesota. In fact, it’s a good idea to use geography to identify wood and determine which types of trees are in your yard. 

Unfortunately, the complex and shallow root system of elm trees makes surrounding elm trees particularly vulnerable to DED. Early discovery is key!

However, transplanted palm trees can show these signs for the first several months as they re-establish themselves. It’s best to keep watering and not give up on the palm tree until a couple of seasons have passed and you’re sure it’s not coming back to life.

Unfortunately, if you cut the top off a palm tree, it will die. Instead of budding or branching out, the top begins to slowly rot. That's why having a professional tree trimming at least twice a year is a good idea.
