"Worst experience with Steve's plumbing! Was charged for three separate diagnostic fee's. The technician that came to my house didn't have a clue as to anything he was talking about and just throwing out random guesses of what the issue could be. They did zero work but stand on my grass, and I still get charged $455. Turns out that their "guess" that they wanted $10k to do the work on was completely wrong anyways. Customer service is horrible, technician was horrible and lied about paperwork, just an all around terrible company. Go with another company, or you'll regret!"

"These guys suck. I had a complete kitchen remodel. I hired Stephen to do the rough plumbing before the cabinets and countertops were placed. He did that job adequately, although the price was exorbitant. I then needed him to come back for the finish installation of the sink, grinder, dishwasher, and cooktop. He had no clue who I was or where the job was, and this was three weeks after he did the rough work. After I reminded him where the job was, Stephen and his partner showed up half hour after he said he would. The did less than half the work, and then vaporized. He failed to call back. Now I've got to find another plumber to finish the job, and probably will get a hefty bill for the hour work that he did today. Totally unacceptable. This guy has no idea about customer service."

You should never pour antifreeze down the drain or outside on the ground. Because it's highly toxic, antifreeze can still impact people and animals long after it drains. Antifreeze can contaminate water and sewage systems, and any that gets into storm drains and water supplies can attract animals and harm those that ingest it.

Schrader valves are also commonly known as American valves or simply car valves since they're often used in tires for bicycles and motor vehicles. The valve gets its name from the company that created it, the Schrader company, following its invention in 1891. It was later patented in the U.S. in 1893.

To drain a broken toilet, place towels or plastic sheeting around the base in case of splashing or overflowing. Next, shut off the toilet’s water supply, usually via a valve on the wall behind the toilet. Begin flushing the handle to remove as much water as possible from the tank and the bowl. Don’t flush the toilet if it’s clogged, though. From there, use a large sponge to soak up any remaining water and wring it over a bucket. 

If you have to hold the toilet handle (also called the toilet lever) down to flush, you probably have a chain problem. A chain that cannot fully lift the flapper will close too early and not clear the toilet bowl. Try adjusting the chain length so there’s about ½ inch of slack.   

You can adjust your water pressure using the water pressure regulator, which is a valve that's usually located near your water main valve. Opening and closing that valve dictates how much water pressure your house receives. You can also potentially increase your water pressure by purchasing a water pressure booster and hiring a pro to install it for you.
