"Two people showed up on time. I got a quick on the spot quote and they started. I was very happy they took the storm windows out and cleaned all 4 sides that make up each window. All 20+ windows cleaned in less than a day made me super happy. They did a outstanding job cleaning some windows that had not been cleaned in 20 years!"

"Champion Landscape Solutions did an outstanding job in my yard! When I arrived home yesterday, I was absolutely astonished at how beautiful my yard looked. Scott, Tim, and Zach had gone above and beyond what I expected. Scott Barnett came out to my house to discuss the job and made suggestions about the best way to proceed. He quoted a very reasonable price for the the work . I highly recommend these guys and will be using them again soon."

"The whole experience was awesome. They were prompt, courteous, and very thorough. There was no pressure for adding on services, but when I saw how great a job they were doing, I asked them if they could add on a sidewalk and my deck. They did an outstanding job on the house, deck, deck furniture (looks brand new!), driveway and 2 sidewalks. They were great. The price was better than I had been quoted by another company. I would hire them again and I will recommend them to others. Great experience from beginning to end."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.
