"If you want fantastic craftsmanship, transparency, professionalism, integrity and the best looking pool around then you want Eco Landscaping! I used Angi’s when we moved from PA to GA and wanted a pool installed. Not knowing anyone around the area. The top choice Angi’s gave was Eco Landscaping. You wouldn’t know they are 2 hours away from us because we receive the same treatment and experience as any of their customers. Our pool is being filled with water right now and should be complete this week! Thank you Eco Landscaping!"

"The team was great. From sales to clean up, we had a great experience. The salesman was very patient and answered all our questions with no pressure at all. The guys who came to measure the pool were extremely professional and detailed in the measurements to be sure the liner was a good fit. The installers were great. Made sure the liner was tight and lined up every curve perfectly. The cut in guys were outstanding and did a great job on the finish work and set up our new cover. They explained and demonstrated how to place the cover on and remove it. They cleaned up everything before leaving. I would highly recommend LazyDay Pools for any swimming pool work."

"said he'd come by the next day...instead he called that same day and would it be okay to stop by...yes!...thought I had multiple problems...he easily corrected all, instructed me on some items...no charge..AND IT WAS POURING RAIN. Nicest guy (I'm a pool newbie. I so appreciate people who help me out instead of taking advantage) call him personally...770 468 4302"

"Brian and Tim did a great job and was very knowledgeable in their product. They replaced our pool liner, gaskets and repaired our light. Once the liner was ordered and received they were able to install in one day. Their price out beat everyone. I would recommend them for your pool needs."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

When planning for land survey costs, you should consider the following elements as major contributors to the overall cost:

  • Size of your property in terms of acres or square feet

  • Complexity of the terrain in terms of hills, elevation changes, rocks, water, and other features

  • Type of survey you need (boundary survey, topographic survey, or a combination of survey types)

  • Distance traveled for the professional surveyor

Surveys completed by licensed surveyors can be recorded with a local surveying records office, and in most cases, they will be. Filing survey reports categorize them as legal documents, and they can be used whenever legal documentation of your property’s boundaries is needed. While you’re not required to file survey documents, it’s a good idea to do so.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

If you or your mortgage lender think your land survey needs to be more accurate, double-check the survey report and get at least a second opinion from the original surveyor and an inspector, if possible. Although it’s unlikely, even reputable surveying companies can make mistakes. An inaccurate survey can cause problems down the road in the case of any property line disputes, so it’s best to resolve any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.
