After $18,000 and 6 months to do a 3 month project, we were left with unfinished stairs, bonus room, closet, and bathroom. So I had a wonderful friend refer Mr. Steinberg to finish the jobs we needed. He came to the house and performed a walk through of the areas of concern. I followed up with my husband and I the next day with a free estimate. He and his helper arrived at 09:00am every morning, took an hour and half lunch, then worked until 5:00pm. They completed all of the trim work in the closet, stairwell, stairs, banister, tread, rails. He also repaired uneven drywall and corners that had been installed incorrectly. It took 2 weeks to complete the job instead of one due to the original handyman/contractor's less than accurate measurements and sloppiness on the stair and stairwell installation. Mr. Steinberg and his associate are very professional and friendly. They cleaned up behind themselves at the end of every day and stored away their equipment in an appropriate way so that there were no unsightly things left on my front porch or in the yard. Floors were prepped and plastic drapes were used to protect existing surfaces from dust and construction. I will have him come back and do more improvements when needed. After calling around, Steve, the owner, and staff spent 13 hours getting the front and backyard in order. When I asked to hire them for the future, Steve told me that they usually don't to yard work, just repairs on outdoor equipment. He did this on the side, to help me out. After that, he offered to clean our RV, which turned out really nice. They also made the appropriate repairs on it so we could take it in the road that Summer. I've been back to repair my pressure washer, with no issues. All around good place to go. Playground Equipment Service reviews from real Angi homeowners in Valdosta, GA
After being without power after a hurricane hitting our area, we had a service tech come out 2 weeks later who was rude, unprepared and ill-equipped to repair the generator back into running condition. More than 3 weeks later, the second service tech that came out was much more pleasant and...

Vance arrived on time. He was very professional, made helpful recommendations, purchased the necessary equipment, and installed my above-ground sprinkler system. He did a great job! I would hire him again, and definitely refer him to my friends and neighbors!
Mr. Doug Larrison, owner, is so cordial, professional as well as accommodating. He takes into consideration your breakables, plants, pets and anything that might be affected. He is careful to cover electrical boxes (like dog fence controls) etc. He has 2 helpers that make things go faster...

My name is Kent Vanattia, I am the sole owner of Arlis Home Services. What I'll tell you here, is how I came to choose this career path. I was born in Hillsboro, TN. My family owned a dairy farm. Grandpa had his own cattle but he and my Uncle also ran a "milk route". They picked up milk from other farms all over middle TN. We delivered it to a processing center along with our own milk. I learned to take care of the equipment on this farm not long after I could walk. Along the milk route, it soon became obvious to me, even as a young boy that proper maintenance sure saved a lot of time and trouble. That lesson served me well throughout my life. As a very young man, I joined the service. I found it easy to fall into a structured routine, I grew up that way. Later as I learned various trades my attention to detail and regimented style of learning and doing made it easy for me to retain and reuse my new found knowledge. And today, as I comb over a cabin for signs of potential problems or I am building a deck or other project ... I find it's the lessons of my youth that keep me on track. I named my business Arlis, because it was my dad's name. He's not with me anymore and I miss him. My Dad never did anything half-way. So naming my business after him reminds me of the lessons he taught.

FAQs for playground equipment service projects in Valdosta, GA
The average cost of playground equipment installation is around $500, and most homeowners pay between $330 and $700, excluding the cost of the playground equipment itself. Your total project cost will depend on site preparation requirements, playset size, design complexity, number of accessories, and the swing set materials. Don’t forget to account for the cost of playground surfacing, which can cost between $15 to $160 per cubic yard or $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.
It may be tempting to DIY the construction of a swing set to save money, but we don’t recommend it. Since children will use the swing set, the entire system must be solid and safe, meaning the cost savings aren’t worth potentially endangering them. Plus, most DIYers will have to build their swing sets out of wood, which won’t last as long as metal or vinyl and introduces the risk of splinters. Instead, hire a local playground equipment installer to ensure the swing set is built safely and efficiently, setting up your kids for fun for years to come.
Rubber mulch is widely considered the best material to place under a playset. This material option provides more cushioning than traditional wood mulch for added protection, remains cooler than sand and most other materials in direct sunlight, and it’s low maintenance. Rubber mulch is slightly more expensive than other common options at $120 per cubic yard on average, whereas pine bark mulch is $30 per cubic yard. But when it comes to your children’s safety, the investment is worthwhile. Consult your playground equipment installation company about material recommendations before starting this project.
Whether or not you need a permit to install a playground depends on where you live, as some cities require it and others don’t. You can contact your local building department to find the answer or ask your playground equipment installer if you need a permit. Reputable playground equipment companies will know the laws in your area and can help you apply for the permit and coordinate inspections. Building permits cost$250 to $2,000 for outdoor projects.
In most cases, your professional playground installer will put down a playground surface before assembling the fun-filled system. However, you should ask your installer about this service before booking an installment date. Most playground equipment installation companies offer service add-ons like leveling the area, laying down a surface, building a border to keep the surface material contained, and setting up the swing set.
