It turned out that we didn't need any work at all, but Charlie only made this determination after doing a thorough check of the both fireplaces and the roof. And he didn't charge for the inspection of any of them. I felt bad he spent all that time and I couldn't pay him, but he didn't want a cent. I will use him in the future if the need arises, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs work on their fireplace."
