"They had to get creative to remove my dishwasher that was built around (counter on top, subfloor and tile blocking bottom). They persisted and got it done in 1¼ hours."

"The job went very well. Todd responded quickly and scheduled the job. Technicians Andrew and Eric did a great job replacing the pipes, fastening them, replacing the valves, etc. They were very dedicated and worked through day and night in the cramped crawl space. They are also very personable and nice to work with. Very happy with the job and the staff."

"I cannot recommend Thikka LLC and Ameer enough! He recently installed my fence and did an absolutely outstanding job. From start to finish, he was professional, hardworking, and detail-oriented. The fence looks fantastic, and it’s clear he takes great pride in his work. If you’re looking for someone reliable and committed to making sure you’re happy with the final result, Ameer at Thikka LLC is the one to call. I could not be happier with my fence—it’s exactly what I wanted, and then some!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

An easy way to know whether your sand filter has enough sand is to check how full the filter is and what the sand looks and feels like. The filter container should be two-thirds to three-quarters full of sand. Look for interior marks indicating the ideal sand level. If you put your hand into the sand, it should flow through your fingers without clumping. The filter pressure gauge is also an easy indicator—the right amount of sand leads to normal pressure, while too much or too little sand can cause high or low pressure.

An in-ground concrete pool will carry the highest price tag of all available types of pools, with architectural or freeform concrete pools found at the top end of the price range. Although the upfront costs for a concrete pool are high, these pools tend to be more durable than pools made from other materials and will last the longest.

Customization options may include different pool shapes, sizes, decks, and additional accessories like ladders or pool lights.

The steps to fill a swimming pool will depend on your local building codes. However, it starts with draining the pool of all water using a submersible pump. Then your pro will lift the pool shell from the ground or break it into pieces for individual removal. The next step is filling the cavity with dirt and gravel and topping it with topsoil. Once a structural engineer deems the site safe, landscaping can start.

You shouldn’t swim in a pool with algae. When there’s algae, there’s also bacteria that’s feeding on the algae. Also, algae-infested pool water is often chemically imbalanced, which means germs like Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and E.coli could be present. These germs can cause a range of illnesses from gastrointestinal issues, to rashes, and respiratory problems.

The best thing to do is to get rid of the algae first, test and balance the water, and then you can enjoy swimming without any worries.
