"I contacted Thomas Built to see if they could construct a fireplace mantle and surround for us. Terry came out did some measuring and gave us a quote. We worked on fine tuning things and waited until they had a break in their major projects. Terry returned for final measurements after we had granite tiles laid. The fireplace was built and delivered within three days. My husband stained it and installed it to save on the cost. Couldn't be happier with the final project. It does take some flexibility to work with Thomas Built when a project is this small, but it's well worth it."

His subcontractors to do the tiling and excavation did perfect work done expeditiously. They were no nonsense but very friendly and were frankly, a joy to have around the house. My bathroom belongs in a design magazine. In the lifetime I have left, I will hire Pablo and Simplicity Construction for any construction job for everything this house needs. Instead, it took a month with only one worker assigned. The project manager, Nick Mallard, failed to properly communicate the detailed scope of work I had prepared. As a result, there were numerous errors and incomplete items, including: ? Incorrect tile installed in one bathroom ? Hall bathroom built for a shower instead of the required bathtub ? Missing GFI outlets ? Poor caulking and painting ? Doors installed incorrectly ? Inadequate cleanup of the job site Finally, I had to have Mastermind return five times to address issues that should have been done correctly the first time. I do not recommend Mastermind Designs for any remodeling work. Their management, communication, and quality of workmanship were well below professional standards. "
