"Very well, I did not realize how much needed to be inspected in my home. Southbound was very thorough and very professional. He found some things that I never would have looked at, but gave me the peace of mind to know that I was buying a house with very few (and manageable) issues. Would recommend"

"Eli provided the most reasonable cost estimate. He made himself available almost immediately to handle the project on the same day that I posted it. He was polite, appropriately dressed, and quite skilled. The job was completed professionally and he was done before it started to snow! I'll definitely look to hire him again for other home based needs."

"DeckPro was my last estimate of 8 companies that I had collected for our new deck project. I called the office and spoke to Mark who was very helpful and scheduled an appointment for someone to come out within the week. Frank Sr. (owner) was the Sales person who came to the house and really sealed the deal. I appreciated the extra time that he spent with me, especially the quick sketch that he provided to me since I am a very visual person. The thing that I liked the most was the passion that he not only had for his work but also his entire crew which he often refered to as his family. They were able to put us on the schedule within the month.
Our project was not an ordinary project since we were putting the deck on top of the concrete slab that was already in the back yard. There were some questionable areas with the existing slab so Frank sent his crew (Joe and Mickey) out to repair the concrete to ensure the stability at no cost. Once they concrete was fixed the deck building crew (also known as the A-team) showed up ready to go! They were lead by Whitney who also seemed to have a lot of passion for what he did. They encountered a problem with the existing brick steps that were to have been torn down and the deck placed on top of. They were able to rent a special tool and didn't complain although it sent the project back a couple hours from their estimated timeframe. They completed framing and came back early the next day to finish the project. The group was very professional and respectful. I voiced my concern about not wanting left over debri since we have two young children and they made sure that there was nothing left once everything was complete. We didn't find a screw, piece of wood or even dust from the beautiful new deck that was installed.
We did have a few inspection issues that the county pointed out. I was in contact with Frank Jr. throughout the entire process and he handled all requests and reinspection processes with professionalism and timeliness. These issues were so minor and not comprimising to the structure or the integrity of the project. Just silly little things that Joe and Mickey came back to fix. They were also very professional and fun to work with. We are very pleased with the way everything turned out and would use them again should we decide to have any additional work done in the future.

"I have to admit, I was really disappointed with my overall experience. I was told that I could one time do a reimbursement. First off, why would you do that if you have already paid for service?!?! Then it took almost a week to get some one to address my situation. Now, I do realize that it does take time to get things rolling, but a week?? The gentleman that came to do the work was knowledgeable, but he didn't want to work with he Google representative to make sure that my NEST was/wasn't working properly. He was very short with the rep. and after several minutes of debating with him finally gave in and addressed both of our concerns. The other concern I had was, I was told that I would not have to pay anything this time, because of the delay, yet the rep. said I owed $65.00. He showed me the data he had and sure enough it said that I owed $65.00. Why, would a rep. from your own company tell me this and then turn around and not honor it?!?!? I sure hope that it doesn't take that long to get service the next time, that I need to have something done. What ever happened to customer service?? REALLY DISSSAPPOINTED!!!"

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

Sort of. Hornets are a subsection of wasps with some unique characteristics (along with yellowjackets and similar types of insects). Hornets are generally rare in the United States, with European and Asian hornets the two notable examples.

Hornets tend to be significantly larger than wasps, often larger than one inch. They are also typically white or brown striped instead of yellow like many wasps. They tend to be one of the more aggressive types of wasps, which when combined with their size makes them a priority for homeowners.

When baiting an iguana trap, several items should be avoided. Do not use poisonous baits, such as those intended for rats or mice. This practice is often illegal, is unlikely to attract iguanas, and poses a significant risk to pets or other wildlife. Additionally, avoid using herbs, fruits, and vegetables that are toxic to iguanas, such as fresh sage, rosemary, avocados, and eggplants. While ripe fruit can be an effective bait, be sure to remove any pits or seeds from fruits like apples, pears, and peaches, as they are highly toxic. Finally, steer clear of citrus fruits, which act as a natural deterrent.

The most common wasps are hornets, yellowjackets, and paper wasps. Both hornets and yellowjackets are black and yellow, and hornets are known to be more aggressive if their nests are disturbed. Paper wasps are black or reddish-brown with yellow markings and often build nests on eaves or branches. Of the more than 300,000 species of wasps, these are the most often encountered by pest control professionals.

Yes, a household dryer can kill items infested with bed bugs, such as bedding, stuffed animals, clothes, or shoes. As long as the dryer isn’t stuffed to the brim, you can run it on high for about 30 minutes to kill bed bugs at all life stages. This method will kill any live bed bugs in your linens or upholstered materials.

Deers have an extraordinarily strong sense of smell, which means they can react strongly to certain scents. Lavender, garlic, mint, cinnamon, clove, and human hair are some of the most offensive scents for deer. You can try mixing some of these pungent oils or scents with a spray mixture and adding them to your garden.
