"Mr. LaRue Martin of Martin and Son Contracting is the person I will call for any home needs in the future. I highly recommend this gentleman. He was professional, prompt, and pleasant. He communicated with me via text, email, and phone and sent a quote in a timely manner. He had me send photos of the existing fixture and the new one, so that he would know in advance what to expect from the project. I appreciated that. When I have work done in my home, I like to watch it in progress. I asked to watch while he worked, and he encouraged me to do so. The work is impeccable. I can comfortably say that I trust this man with my home repairs and installation. Highly, highly recommend."

"I couldn't be happier with the deck J&RRenovations built for us! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and entirely stress-free. Regis and the crew were incredible to work with. They listened carefully to what we wanted, provided clear and fair communication throughout the project, and executed the build with incredible precision. The attention to detail is remarkable?every joint, board, and post was done to perfection. They also kept the workspace safe and spotless at the end of every day. Our new deck has completely transformed our backyard, and the structural quality is top-notch. If you?re looking for high-quality workmanship, reliable service, and a team that genuinely takes pride in their craft, look no further. Highly recommended!"

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

Safety precautions include proper ventilation, regular inspections for leaks, and ensuring tanks and fittings are in good condition to prevent accidental release or fire hazards.

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.
